Show me somewhere in NSW that is skydiving from 14k AMSL (above sea level) that is cheaper than this, including the APF student membership.

What ever you do, do not get in to a confrontation with jv or you will lose, just keep quite don't look it in the eye and slowly back away.

jv's are fascinating creatures but dangerous, they are often found lurking in the Ozbargain deals region posting pointless comments, there are also rare sightings of them in the forums especially during the warmer months of the year, when they are more active.
They tend to go in to a slight hibernation period during the cooler months, as such they under go a hormonal change resulting in the comments being even more pointless.

Show me somewhere in NSW that is skydiving

How do you know nobody will ever beat this price?

        • That deal is $155 + $37 APF Fee: $192
And the MAXIMUM altitude you can possibly be jumping from is 12,859ft. 1000ft less.
T&C: 15,000-foot skydive height is subject to weather and air traffic controller requirements.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goulburn_Airport
Goulburn is: Elevation AMSL 2,141 ft / 653 m (above sea level)
Meaning their 15k (if they actually go to 15k is only 12,859k above ground level.

        • @RdWarrior:

Hunter Valley. Australia's most famous wine region.

Most people would rate the Barossa and Coonawarra higher than the Hunter Valley…

    • I'm personally with you on that.

Outside of Sydney, the Hunter Valley is the most visited area. So some people must love it :)

      • I'm personally with you on that.

Then why did you state :

"Smack in the middle of the Hunter Valley. Australia's most famous wine region."

You need to read between the lines jv ;)

    • 25+ years since Australia (the whole country) had its only Tandem (double) fatality. There have been injuries due to hard landings and near misses with people landing "in the drink" but only the one fatal that I know of…

  • By any chance you got any deals on AFF courses..?

      • +1

Can I do a tandem jump with you and hang onto you in a bear hug as we freefall?

        I want to tickle you.

        • Learn to solo skydive .. and you can then do this… its called a Mr Bill. :)

        • +1

As someone as cute as you (freakishly cute, shhh) you can come with me :).

PS you can tickle me anytime ;)

      • Yeah went through your website.
Just a quick question, I did Stage 1 of AFF course successfully I think a year ago in a different place. Is it possible to continue next stages or do I have to repeat stage 1.

P.S: If it makes any difference I saved the whole video from the jump Stage1

        • You would want to sit in on the theory again.

You would want to talk to the chief instructor regarding his requirements. Lgg book + video would help this.
