          I did try to record with 4 iPhones. Cost me over $4000.

          @edfoo:

          Cost me over $4000.

          Cost me nothing, we already had the phones.

        • @jv: I wish I receive 4 iPhones for free, but alas no.

          @edfoo:

          You can use most phones, doesn't need to be an iphone.

        • @jv: No. Must be iPhone or nothing.

    • When will you learn?

  • Bought, thanks OP!

    Hopefully better than the Tascam I've got.

    • Which Tascam is that? I'm tossing up between the two.

      • DR-05
        It has an issue where one channel drops out and has a buzz occasionally.. I thought it was a mobile phone interference but never did figure out. Gave up on it as unreliable. Possibly just a faulty unit.

      A tascam would be better?

  • For those curious about whats different from the classic:

          Apology from YellowKnight in 5, 4, 3….

        • Not really. I just wanted to know which store so I could look out for it in the future incase a better deal comes along.

  • .
    Thanks YellowKnight I bought one they must have added an extra discount during the sale as the final price for me was $259 :)
    I have a DR40 but was looking for a Zoom (I know someone with an H4n) the comparison on You Tube between the H4n and the H4nPro really sold me on this newer model
    https://youtu.be/pJI4dMTdjJA?t=81 (eGlobal also have the Zoom H5 for $305 but that's a little bit much for my OzBargain budget)

    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1253811-REG/zoom_h4np…

    Bhphoto is always pretty good value and deliver pretty quickly for a US Based store.

    Prices can be changed to AUSTRALIAN

    • Isn't that more expensive?

      • .
        YES !!! $40 more than I paid ! and 2 to 3 week delivery …..That isn't as good as the OzBargain deal

        BHphoto You Pay: AUD $262.93 & AU$26.62 = $289.55 (DHL Global Mail - Delivery in 10-15 Business Days (AUD) 26.62)

      • Was just pointing out an option for things that are cheaper than au rrp.
        So sorry to even join the conversation.

  • I am having a great many problems contacting these guys. No chat program available when you click on it, and no response to a message posted to them. If this is what it's like to buy from these dudes, I'm not feeling confident in what would happen if my purchase required support !

    • Communication fixed ! :)

  • Anyone received their order yet? How's it working for you?

    • .
      I got mine it got here really via DHL quickly using the free postage :)

      • How long from your order date did it take to receive it?
