Anyone dealt with these guys before?

    • +4

Hey twinkle toes what have you been up to all this time?

    • +2

Googling Cafago and Tomtop seems to reveal they are associated. OP might want to declare his rep status too.

      • And both funded, but not owned by Gearbest.

    • Never heard of them.

  • +1

That's a great price! I love my Mi Band and might order some for the kids…..Christmas is just around the corner.

    • +3

5 months is "around the corner"? More like a couple of blocks away :).

  • +3

"This transaction will appear on your statement as PayPal * TOMTOPTECHN."

I'm guessing it's related to Tomtop

Can anyone tell me how this might beat this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/316947

    • +1

      Isn't this deal cheaper?

  • unbelievable price because even in China Taobao, xiao Mi band2 is worth 130RMB, equivalent to A$25. I doubt the quality from Cafago.

    • You doubt the quality?

    • May be they just try to promo their site.

  • +3

Damn it, brought it from BangGood 1 week ago. Coulda save 4 bucks.

    • The classic OzBargainer tale of woe! :)

That and just missing out on a mad deal :P

    • Same.

That's the nature of buying from China. Weeks before you're even due to receive it, it will be found cheaper somewhere else.

  • +1

    Cheers OP :)

Comes up to around $18.60 for me tho after all those discounts (payment via PayPal balance).

    • +1

did you upload a profile pic? cause with the 220 points and coupon it's showing 17.82

      • Yup did all that. Has to be the PayPal conversion rate upping the total then. Still the lowest I've seen these go for tho so all good :)

  • Doh! Only just realised that you can actually change the currency to AUD from USD. Maybe should mention that in OP so others don't do the same thing. Picked up a few to give away as gifts so probably donated around 5 bucks in conversion fees to PayPal there lol.

  • Hmm when I signed up I checked the subscribe to newsletter button but the 100 points haven't shown up in my account. Also how and where do I add a pic? Looking in the profile settings section and seeing nothing.

    • I also had trouble as I was doing it on my mobile phone. I used a pc to add pic in my account and on home page towards the bottom there should be subscribe dialog box where you enter email etc.

    • I just signed up and instantly got 200 points. You may just create a new account if it doesn't work.

Ordered one, paid USD $13.60. Thanks OP!

  • Paid US$13.60, thanks OP, great deal.

  • Now saying us $27.49

    • Did you apply the coupon and the 220 points?? I just checked it's still working. (US$13.60)

    • +1

Did you add the coupon code?

      Subtotal: US$ 27.49

  • AUD 17.90 using 28 Degrees - Could not reload my Coles reloadable Mastercard

  • Tried using code and got "Does not meet the rules of use"

    • Had the same issue, this worked for me:

Remove points/coupon> refresh the page > add points > add coupon > success for me

  • Does this work with Iphone coz I found that there is no app on App Store..

    • There is an app in Apple app store called MiFit

  • Is this the same as this on ebay? too good to be true?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100-Original-Xiaomi-Mi-Band-2-Sma…

    • That's $37.96?

      • You are right. I hate it when they advertise it this way, so sneaky.

  • Great deal, ordered one. Thanks OP!

  • Thanks. Got mine for 18.62 AUD using PayPal.

  • Thanks batra..

I got the same, tracking shipment from Laos, and found left Lao's airport yesterday 17/07/2017. Don know how long it gonna take to get here. Just hope it's not fake Xiaomi band like last time I got from eBay, cost time to chase the refund.

      • Same here. Hopefully it arrives and it is what it is advertised to be. Otherwise ask for refund through Paypal.

      • How did you find out it's fake any thing that gives it away? Bought few of these to give away as gifts so don't want to hand out fakes.

  • Ordered two days ago on 15/7, but still hasn't been dispatched yet. Not sure if this is a fraudulent site.

    • This is how it went with my order:

    • same as mine

      • Hopefully will arrive next week.

  • Received it today by Auspost.

    • Ditto^

      • Same here

  • +2

Received today. It's genuine xiaomi band, not crap fake one like I got from eBay before. I'm happy

  • Can you track it with ozpost? My latest update shows it in in Australia but nothing else

    • No, can't track it once it shows in Australia. Have to wait. For me it shows 25/07 processed in Australia but I received on 31/07/2017. I have mail redirection so might take extra 1 or 2 days for me to receive it. My tracking still shows as 25/07 even I have got it.

  • I ordered 10/7/17. Tracking says:

2017-07-24 00:00 Laos, The item has been processed in the country of destination

Still haven't received it. Contacted them, and reply is: please wait, we will try to refund after 45 days. 😩

    Anyone else still waiting?

    • Yep, same tracking information as yourself. Still waiting..

  • ordered on 11/7 and received yesterday. the tracking is crap it's still not updated. happy with the band though.

  • +1

Mine arrived today. The thing does not respond to touch/press, doesn't charge, doesn't power on. Shipping probably took so long that the battery discharged in transit. Tried charging via wall charger, power bank, and PC USB to no avail. Fiddled with the charging cable a bit, left it charging for a couple of hours, and it started charging.

Just sharing, so others in a similar situation won't immediately chuck it in the bin and claim refund.

  • Mine arrived today. Thanks OP.

    • Hi, when did you order? I ordered on 15th last month, still no sign of it.

      • +1

        I ordered on Jul 11

I received order shipped email on Jul 14

The direct tracking link in that order shipped email never worked

I had to go to http://www.17track.net/en
and manually enter the tracking number…

        mine was RB0158XXXXXXX

        • @Vernon Koekemoer:

Still waiting. Can't see delivery tracking status anymore. Think it's a no-show and will have to exercise PayPal refund :(

  • Anyone else not receive theirs yet?

  • +1

    Received mine after 25 days.

Would not recommend miband 2 or cafago.

My miband 2 is not working as expected. Have contacted cafago several times, with description of issue, photos and videos, and response is slow or non existent. First response was to ignore the difference. Haven't heard anything else since, even after providing additional images.

I am currently on a 10,000 step challenge, and after realising the tracker wasn't picking up steps, carried my phone to compare. iPhone reaches 10,000, while miband 2 can have anywhere between 5000-7000. So then got husband to wear it at same time as fit bit: fitbit about 6000, miband 4000.

The miband 2 doesn't start recording until at least 10 steps are taken, so if worn to increase activity level (rather than running), incidental walking is often ignored. If walking while holding onto a pram, water bottle, phone or hand bag, it also will not capture steps.

Ended up buying a secondhand fitbit flex 2 for a similar price and it is PERFECT!!!

Biggest disappointment is lack of response from Cafago. Will NEVER buy from them again. More important than selecting a product, is selecting a company that will stand by their customers.
