OVER $680 + Shipping everywhere else

    Not really

    • Oh crap, good find. My bad on this one - I suppose many have got a new batch and dropped prices since I checked. ^^ upvoted.
(I know the business so I'll ask them for a better price or coupon since I've listed this. Hahaha)

I know the business so I'll ask them for a better price or coupon since I've listed this.

Can you ask them to give me one for free since I'm helping them to be competitive?

Name's Scab and I'm here all the time.

        • Hahaha unfortunately, I don't know them that well as I've just done some unrelated work with the business.

    • Hey so I have been having a little bit more of a look on some of these sites.

Say at IT Spot which has theirs at $555.78 plus $122.95 shipping to Melb so total of 678.73
13 IT is actually a better deal at $649 plus $28.64 shipping to Melb total of 677.64

I didn't go through all of them but looks like the others are just playing price manipulation via shipping costs.
Also could be worth pointing out 13IT is 1.75% on card whereas they are 2.5%

Though - I still stand corrected on the title - when I found it I thought it was $50ish cheaper than others. Really it could come down to $10-15 cheaper after creditcard/paypal.

The first one is expensive for shipping but the next two are only $23 and $34 ($564 and $580 delivered), and I'm in a regional area.

One thing I did notice was that a few of these sites are either the same company or using the same software as their layout is similar.

But regardless, they are still substantially cheaper.

    27" 4K - a bit small…

  • Also over $32 shipping to Sydney (2001)

    • Who's your time travelling postman hookup? Can you get him out deliver this USB with 2017 off-line Wikipedia archive to me around the same year while he's at it?

      • +3

        That's a Sydney postcode.

    • With inflation that should be about $47 in 2017

no proper research was done OP

  • Also minimum of 1.75% surcharge on credit card, even more for paypal!

    • +1

Pretty sure charging a surcharge for PayPal is against the User agreement.

*edit: rules seem to have changed… Carry on

For that price I'd be wanting G-Sync and a lower response time

  • Is this the one that was $399 at shopping express last year around xmas?

  • I've had my eye on this monitor along with a couple others. From the unboxing and review videos the stand looks quite cheap and wobbly.

    • I was going to buy a while ago but found out the stand doesn't let you lift it up. Not even sure if you can tilt it up, but I don't like tilted monitors. I want the center of the screen at eye level.
