      this is a better deal.

      No way,

make an offer for $50 and get if for $47.50 !!

      this is a better deal.

    • +2

I spoke to them via messaging and $350 is the lowest they go.

  • $337.50 Delivered

    Nope, according to your link, it's $375.00 - 5% = $356.25

  • Let's see who gets the lowest offer!

    • +12

Should be posted on OzOffer, not OzBargain

  • I made a $200 offer. Finger crossed

    • I offered $315 each for 5. finger & toes crossed (which means I will be luckier)

      • +3

        Broden

    • +11

How do you cross one finger?

    • +1

      rejected

      • +2

maybe because you didn't cross enough fingers!

  • +42

What's with all the salty comments?

You guys never made an offer on Ebay? I messaged them to get the best price if I were to post the deal and purchased one myself to be sure of it.

Yet you guys report it and be smart asses?

    • +7

Who is giving you shit? I don't think they are being serious!

Its a good price for a good watch.

    • +3

Ignore the trolls, it's a good deal. I usually rely on starbuy for market value and they are selling it for twice the price. This is a good deal OP.

Personally waiting for satellite watch to go down in price.

    • +1

it's like 30% rrp, no reason to complain. id just "buy it now" honestly.

    • too many smart asses need to vent.

  • -7

What's a smart ass? A clever donkey? This is not Trumpland.

    • Clever backsides

  • This is great price. Bear in mind this is not a watch for purists though since it relies on solar power.

    • Hey mate would you rather kinetic or solar power?

      • +1

As a prepper I'd say kinetic since solar isn't always available. But then again less energy expenditure is involved in solar.

        • +1

I have a Casio protrek solar its good with the battery i charge it every so often. Some times its months between proper charges. I think an analogue watch would use more power?

        • @aussieprepper: Yea now that I think about it solar is better in most circumstances. Automatics lose or gain a few seconds everyday.

        • @Bunnyburger:

          Solar is definitely better.

It can charge I under fluro, albeit slowly. Or halogen light.

Only takes 10 minutes in direct sun for a long time of charge.

        • True, but in the long run, solar will be available far longer than anthropomorphic kinetic…

      • I've had one of these for years and would recommend it. I've never gone out of my way to charge it, and it's yet to ever stop running.. It seems to get by fine, even when I only wear it once every now and then.

    • +1

Purists have something against the sun?

      • +4

Damn straight they do. That damn Sun shining its smug rays about indiscriminately!

        • +1

All that damn sunshine is making all my Eneloops deteriorate quicker

        • +2

          Galileo Galileo.
          Galileo Galileo,
          Galileo Figaro
          Magnifico-o-o-o-o.

      • If I wanted a watch that uses the sun, I'd wear a sun dial on my wrist!

    • +5

Any ideas how I can get this watch to run on coal for my friend Tony?

      • prolly exposure to an incandescent light source

  • +1

How can it possibly be worth 1500 down to 350?
Not like ebay generates a lot of marketing to pay for itself?

  • Wonder how many offers they just got for sub-300

  • +3

    What's the 'actual' RRP

    • Most stores seem to be selling it for around $700 as RRP, but if you look hard enough you will find it around $450. Another seller here has it for $730, would be $693.50 after 5% coupon.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Citizen-Eco-Drive-Radio-Controlle…
It's a deal, but not a steal and thing with watches is it can be priced at whatever RRP the manufacturer wants, the worth is in how much you can get it for when you need to sell it. Some of these watches on this page are priced at $100,000+ and there is no way they are worth that much (the ones that dont use real gold/diamond) LOL.. http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/watches/between/10000/and/10000…

  • Worth every dollar, my Titanium Ecodrive hasn't given me a moment of trouble. Light weight and the sapphire glass is decent too.

  • Anyone successful with sub 350 offers?

    • I doubt they will respond at this time as it isn't set out to be an automatic reply.

If anyone is interested, I'm sorry to say that there is 7 left. If you want to guarantee the purchase, best bet is to buy it now at $356.25 and try your luck for a partial refund… Doubt it though

      • +1

Keeps bumping up to 10 available. I wonder if they actually have loads of stock.
Put in an offer for 300, won't be bummed if I don't get it. Looks like a nice watch, but not actually sure how it'll look styled. Maybe I will end up pulling the trigger tomorrow if stock is left.

  • +5

    That's one busy dial.
That's a lot of pending offers.
And there's a sale happening every few minutes.

They're adding more while they're selling at this price.

This astute analysis brought to you by
    AngryChicken
    I approve this message

    • Needs more numbers on the dial.

    • Needs less clutter on the dial

  • There down to 9 354 with the 5% off

  • not much of a watch expert here,
does the $1500 RRP, if it is true, deos that mean that its selling for this price at say, Harvey norman, the citizen boutique shop, or even duty free (minus GST)

or is one of these products that sells for $350 everywhere even if the RRP is $1500

    • When current items, they'll be RRP at mainline stores, but you can get discounts from discounters, usually about 10-20%

I suspect this is a clearance model, but you can still see it available from that old standby, starbuy for example @ $719, amongst others.
      https://www.starbuy.com.au/citizen-eco-drive-promaster-air-t…

So yes, it's a genuine saving… though the market price now isn't $1500.

  • Any recommendations for a good silver ladies watch? Looking for a decent one in 200-300 dollars.thanks in advance.

  • Does this come with Australian Receipt? TRS…

    • +1

I have bought from them previously. I didn't get tax invoice along with the shipment. Called their customer service number and they sent me one by email.

  • Can I get laid wearing this?

    • +13

      In your case, highly unlikely.

  • -6

    People still wear watches ?

    • +2

Of course not, they watch them.

  • that was never a $1500 watch

  • +2

Guys hold on.. the radio control doesn't work in Australia..the dial is rather big.. titanium? stainless stell is better..don't ozbargain it.. please hold on till I borrow $350 from somebody…

    • haha

    • Well the radio control not actually working in Australia is actually a negative… :p

    • You may be joking, but you are actually right on all 3 points.

Although the titanium point is debatable. I prefer SS because from what I have read, titanium scratches easier & I've never had to take off my SS watch because it's too heavy. Oh & they're cheaper too.

      • +2

After going from a SS watch to a Titanium, I'm never going back.

        • +1

That's why I said it's debatable. Maybe you can give some reasons to help others?

        • +2

          @WatchNerd:
I haven't noticed any issues with scratching, although I do try my very best to take care of my watch. But for me the main thing was the weight. Whilst the weight of an SS watch isn't really an issue as it's fine, the Titanium just felt so much lighter that it became really noticeable when putting an older SS watch on.

        • @fatpizza:

I never considered it a problem until I wore my first titanium watch.. I haven't bought an SS one (other than my Apple watch) in a decade.

        • +1

That's a lot of extra dough to pay just for a titanium v SS.
          I'm with watchnerd on this

      • +1

Never mind the quality, feel the weight. Hypoallergenic, corrosion resistant, non-magnetic - but yep, once scratched, stays scratched.

        • +1

Can be polished out though unlike SS, I know from experience.

  • Is this one made in China or japan?

  • What's with the 'sold' going from 16 to 11? nvm prob retractions

    • Per hour?

  • I don't really need a watch as I have my moto360, but this titanium and sapphire glass has caught my interest at this price!

    Decisions decisions!!!

  • +1

Actually, should I buy it and tell my wife I just saved $1150!!😛

Thinking about it, she would then say: Fantastic! I can go buy another pair of shoes and matching handbag!😬

  • Made the offer now ill just watch this space.

    • $350 offer not accepted.

  • +3

Admittedly a step up from this, but my Naviforce 9044 arrived today and it's awesome.

Already walked into the shower with them by accident and they've survived. Yes, i shower.

    Thanks @WatchNerd.

And hey it might be steel, and i might be able to sense the weight of it, but i can also sense the weight of my big kahuna's and i'm not about to chop them off.

Now [6] days since i've bought a watch.

    • +1

Holy guacamole, what an ugly watch.

      • +1

        No it's not - it's beautiful.
It might be missing a satellite or petri dish or whatever this other one has, but it's still beautiful.

        • +1

Ugly ass watch with an ugly ass chapter ring on it.

        • +1

          Not it's not - it's beautiful.
You've obviously missed the cute little orange tip of the second hand.
I'll be wearing it to bed.

Oh sweet Jesus there's only ONE left!!
          60 sold in 24 hours.
None of the overnight offers have been accepted.
The suspense is, well, about to put me to sleep…

  • -2

Well, not quite TAG HEUER CARRERA
But it will do for now

  • Out of stock :(

  • FYI there is no factory warranty with this sellers watches. No warranty card is supplied either. Any repair etc has to go through seller. Maybe they are factory seconds? Just a heads up for anyone looking to resell.

    • +1

Incorrect. I have purchased ten watches from the same company including this model watch as part of this deal and the watch did come with a stamped 5 year warranty card from Citizen Australia. I received this model on Tuesday and it's a beautiful watch and worth every cent.

      • You had a better experience than me then. My watch didn't come with warranty card and when asked if i could put it through local repairer they said it had to be sent back to them.

  • +1

Citizen is one of those watch companies that has destroyed its reputation and there is no way in hell it would be worth $1500 ever

  • +1

    Hi,

With ATOMIC watches, you can use either a webpage to time synch your watch from anywhere or an android mobile app.

    http://www.jrcomputing.com.au/Set_Watch/Set_Watch_Auto.html

    Cheerz ;^)

    • Wow all that effort for a watch that costs more to have that feature, when any watch can be set to the exact time with a computer & internet connection, even AngryChicken's $12.00 Naviforce.

  • +1

lol $1500.. You can find this watch for $450 from a few online stores if you look hard enough.. Still it's a savings of $75.. OP posted title of $337.50, but from the ebay offers page, it seems 95% of people who submitted that got the offer declined.

    • +2

The offers got declined because the watch ended up getting sold out at the listed price before the seller could have manually accepted each one this morning.

I am working with them now to get the similar watch 'CB0140-58E' at a discounted amount of 75% off for those who missed out.

      • Can they offer a deal for this model as well? I'm after this one. Thank you.

        http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/201976676740?_mwBanner=1

        • That's a different seller, but Starbuy have a Rep on here, so you could send him a PM & ask.
          Just say WatchNerd sent you.

        • -1

@WatchNerd: I understand it is from different seller, I just paste it here to show the model that I'm after. Thanks for your help too WatchNerd, do you know if Starbuy can offer something like 75% off for this too?

        • @maogua: I don't know, but the Rep has always done his best to look after Ozbargainers.
Starbuy has a good name on here.

        • It's good to see the hour and minute hands practising safe sex together.

  • I am a visitor from Japan. I got one. Thanks OP. This model is sold at 72171 Japanese Yen (AUD830) on Amazon Japan.

    • Can i have it?
      Think of it as reparations.
