60,000 Qantas or Amplify Points with $3000 Spend/90 Days St George Signature Credit Card First Annual Fee Waived Apply in Branch

680

Just confirmed this promotion is still valid as long as you open a new account at St George in a branch. I did this at Chatswood branch. They applied the code EB in the system. I received the card in a few days and activated it. I called up the customer service hotline and confirmed that the first year's annual fee is being waived and the 60,000 QFF promotion for $3000 spend in 90 days is valid. The manager at Chatswood branch said this promotion is valid for all applications at the branches. I would suggest that you confirm at a branch and post your experience here.

    • What docs they need to verify income? If don't have payslips, can use Westpac bank statement showing salaries? Thanks.

      • Yes, they said 3 months of bank statements showing salary will suffice.

  • Do we need to open a bank account with them if we take up this offer in order to secure the points?
Can we apply for the bank account over the phone as well?

Looks like this offer is still available. I opened a Complete Freedom account online a day before, then next day tried to ask for this deal at the branch. The branch manager couldn't find it even though he tried very hard by calling to many departments. At the end I called St George hotline and they said the deal is still available for existing customers. Spent 20 minutes in applications over the phone and will be providing payslips etc over the next few days ….

  • I went to branch to apply.. first year fees waived…

    • which branch? keen to do this but a bit apprehensive to wasting time by going into a branch

  • Just cancelled the card. By far the easiest/quickest part of the entire process. Somewhat ironic.
