  • I don't like that they make you sign up before you can even see anything on the website about their service.

    • +1

This was my largest issue with them. The only reason I have decided to give it a whirl is that I've seen the MealPal sticker at four eateries nearby my office.

When it gets to 5:00pm this evening, I'll post some screenshots from a couple of different locations (Sydney CBD, Melbourne CBD and Brisbane CBD) in the hope this provides people with more clarity.

      • I wonder if they know that your posting will have a bigger impact on their business than any advertising they do! Thanks for being the guinea pig!

        • I think it'll be an interesting exercise! Will keep you (and anybody else who may be interested) updated.

  • They are currently running the Coles gift card promo where you get $50 Coles gift card through referral after 45 days from sign up. That way, the meal is cheaper. However, if you don't/can't use Coles gift card, then 30% is the best offer.

    • I wasn't exactly keen to subscribe for more than one month without knowing exactly what kind of beast MealPal was, how decent these $5-$7 meals are and how much selection is available in my area.

This 30% off, one-month sign up is more of a well priced investigation more than anything.

The menu/range should be available to me in the next ten minutes, so I'll post some screencaps here.

      • Does this stop after one month? I thought it is the same as the promo where it will be automatic renewal?
I just finished my meal plan and currently putting it on hold as I need to travel in the coming weeks so it doesn't start charging me.

        • The 30% off is for the first month only — but I intend to cancel after one month if I'm not satisfied.

Depending on how convenient it is and how decent the portions are, I may decide to keep it on.

  • Would be interested to see what kind of meals they have..

    • Link below. :)

  • Thanks OP! Can you please also share the menu if possible…

    • Link below. :)

  • For those interested, here's a link showing four pages of options for the Sydney CBD.

There seems to be 100+ lunch items in my area with only three (3) sold out for the day. Have ordered a black bean curry from a place 100m from my office.

Definitely looking forward to this month's test.
