  You'll have to give it another 5 years. That price isn't realistic when the top of the range Leds are still 2k+

    Hoping to score a run out of last years model when the time comes. Don't mind waiting a little while as our current tv does the job. I have a feeling we will see it close to 2k a lot sooner than 5 years once there's more competition around (at least I hope so).
    
    Nearly bought a 65" LED a couple of weeks back but after seeing OLED in the flesh I wouldn't settle for anything else!

      wait till 2k? 75 might be the next big thing or god forbid something happens to you..Imagine all the OLED time you will miss..for this being just 10 cm less..Just think?

      IF the 65" OLEDs come down to 2k, what would the piece of crap LCD/LEDs need to be priced at for people to bother? $500 for a 65"?
