Kathmandu eBay - Spend $150 and Get a $50 Kathmandu eBay Voucher

280

Spend $150 and get a $50 voucher to use at Kathmandu on eBay

Combined with their current Winter Sale, and also the eBay 10% off coupon you can get some pretty decent deals.

An example: Kathmandu Epiq Mens Hooded Duck Down Jacket - was $399.99, now $199.98, or $179.99 after eBay deal + $50 voucher with this deal.

I personally ordered the Terania Mens NGX Waterproof Hiking Boots and the Alptic Mens Packable Duck Down Jacket. Normally a hugely inflated $519.96, but only $179.98 + $50 voucher with these combined deals.

  • Is there a code you need to input?

If so you cant stack it with the 10% off

So use code "PLENTY" should give you 10% off from Ebay.

Doesn't seem like it according to the T&C

      • No idea, I tested it out by putting an item in my checkout and applying the code "PLENTLY" to it and it took 10% off the price ($10)

        • to clarify, I meant it doesn't need a code for this deal, hence PLENTLY should work.

    • According to the T&Cs, you don't need a code, it will work automatically if you spend over $150 in one transaction using PayPal. That's why you can use the PLENTY code as well.

A voucher will be issued electronically by 18:00 (AEST) on 7 August 2017 and must be redeemed before 23:59 (AEST) on 29 August 2017 (“Redemption Period”) at the Kathmandu Store on www.ebay.com.au, after which time the code on the voucher expires.

heads up, you've essentially got 1 month to use the voucher during which there might be no further discounts in place and everything has been elevated to normal Kathmandu RRP

In regards to your example, $149.98 isn't over $150. You wouldn't be eligible for the voucher without purchasing a second item.

    • Haha, you're right, maybe I should find another. I was considering that jacket combined with the boots. Fixed now.

  • The $50 voucher, can it used only with Kathmandu on eBay? Or can we use it at any other store?

  • Does it work in store?

    • No - I actually went in store to try on their shoes, and asked them. Since the shoes were on sale online only and the jacket I wanted was out-of-stock, they told me to go online and use this deal.

Would rather $50 off instead of getting the discount after the fact…but that's just me.

So would I. But a $50 is much better than no $50 voucher ;)

  • How's Kathmandu quality these days?
    Is this worth $150?

    • I've personally found some of their stuff great, and some of it a bit so-so. I'd never pay full RRP but it's usually pretty good stuff.

I went in and had a look, and the Epiq jackets looked and felt very nice. Since I was after a mid-layer for hiking I opted for something else (the Epiq jacket was very warm, would have been too much for hiking), but if I were after a very warm jacket it looked pretty good.

OP, those shoes are unbelievable @ $65. Went in-store to try the UK 12 on, and they fitted great. $139.98 in-store for latest model and all they have done is change the stripe from green to blue! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171576476908

    • I know, I was pretty stoked. I usually have trouble finding any cheap shoes at size 13UK/14US, so finding decent, comfortable hiking shoes at $65 is fantastic.

  • Any recommended sleeping bags for under zero degrees?

  • I am a Kathmandu member, can I still get my member discounts on some products & earn points with my membership?

  • A pity it's not $50 off, or a long expiry voucher for use instore…Litehaul 38L (latest version) for $200, minus 10% to $180, minus $50 would be an instabuy for me at $130!

Even an instant voucher, for use on the current sale, would have been preferable (could have bought the matching daypack to clip onto it).

(They only have the blue version on eBay anyway…I want the grey!)

  • I just bought an sleeping bag last week zzz the sales

  • Has anyone tried purchasing via their eBay link and exchange to a different size in store? (their eBay store has XL but I was hoping to get M)

    Thanks

    • +1

Not a chance if it's clearance out of stock items.

  • Voucher now active, and prices are up

  • Anyone else not received their voucher?

    • Doesn't look like they send it to you. Can't see it on PC, but on the app you go to checkout > select add voucher > then there should be an option to select "AU $50 off your purchase"
