You didn't really make it clear that it was a genuine Xbox 360 controller in the title. Probably best to have simply made it "Xbox 360 Wired Controller" instead

Good deal, but I'd fork out the extra cash and get the superior Xbox One controller. They're worth the extra.
Xbox one controllers are very well known to have reliability issues. Ive gone through 2 Xbox One controllers in as many years, even though Ive never dropped them and cleaned them occasionally to ensure oils from my hands wouldn't clog the buttons. Bumpers break really easily (no matter how much care you take, they wear out on the inside). Look it up. If its for PC use, go for the 360 version, Xbox one is not worth the extra $40-50 or so. Ive been using my original white 360 controller since Earl 2009, and it still works. It is very dirty yes (thousands of hours of use) and barely works these days, but it lasted far longer than the Xbox one controllers.

No, there a plenty of games that just work better with a controller, such as Dark souls or Nier

Just a heads up, the d-pad on the microsoft 360 controllers absolutely sucks. If you're not using it, the controller is fine, but if you wanted it to play an old game with dpad controls, don't get a 360 controller.
