    Lol I had a London taxi as my private car when I lived there. So many people tried to flag me down, or tried to get in at the lights, or asked me where such and such a road was. best thing was being able to use the taxi lanes. Worst thing were the brakes, heavy cars the taxi, and other taxi drivers fully pull out on you its like some unwritten code.

    Im surprised they've sold any. They're expensive, not as reliable as the usual taxi (toyota, ford etc..) and quality isnt what it once was (as they're now made in china).

    That said, a gimmick that might get you a wave over another cab could be a wise investment as a driver (but how many plate/car owners actually drive them or give a shit about the bloke from the subcontinent who they lease the cars to)

    The pitch is these taxis fit 5 people or extra luggage for the price of a normal taxi…its written on the side of the taxi :)
