can anyone vouch for the quality of this brand?

Ha! If those AAs are 3000mAh then i'm the Queen of England!

Perhaps if you'd connect all four of them in parrallel then you'd maybe get 3000mAh… maybe…

    • Is it really so far out of the realms of possibility? Energiser make a 2450mAh rechargeable, and Jaycar sell a 2500mAh one.

No it isn't. But if Energizer produces a battery that does 3Ah, i'd believe it. Given that they don't, what's the bet that this no-name brand can't deliver what it claims?

        • Fair enough. Not here to defend any brand. Thanks for your input.

      • Agreed, I've seen some Sanyo 2700mAh jobs too! ;)

    • To be honest, the highest I've seen is 2700 mAh and not 3000 mAh

    • To be honest, this brand is not that bad. But not much better either ;-)

I got a pair of 2200mAh of this brand, it can only hold a little bit over 1400mAh, and self-discharge is fast.

    • @ zo1dberg, I like ur comment :)
but, u seem to have a valid point and I really suspect their figures and quality. Brands like Energeizer or duracell makes 2450mAH or something,
Aldi has : 2500mAH, its name is Ultracell ® Rechargable Batteries AA for 9.99. They can still be trusted. and its their normal price.

Secondly, who says their retail is 24.99. Oh man, they even beat Engerisers.
Not a bargain as per me.

i still prefer eneloop… beware of old version (not fake but just old), it saying "recharge up to 1000x" on the front of the package.

the new one will say up to 1500x…

    • +1 to eneloop, even though they are only 2000mAh, they don't suffer from the 1% leakage / day.

  • eneloop are good I jump on that bandwagon. However, can we also consider that these batteries may well be manufactured in the same factory as other better known brands (as are so many other things these days) just 'branded' differently, and that they may be just as good. note my repeated use of 'maybe'.

    • Only certain LSD batteries are rebranded eneloops.

Examples would be Energizers Pre-charged batteries which are made in Japan and also Apple's AA Batteries :)
