Different grasses do better in different conditions (shade,sun,dry,frost, high traffic etc etc) as well as at different times throughout the year. Having a blend means you'll be more likely to have a lush green lawn throughout the year.
While this is true, the grasses often look different colours.
I will congratulate you on a blend that doesn't contain any couch or kaikuyu though.
Do they grow at the same rate? I mean the last thing you want is for clumps to stick out after a week or so of mowing because there's a different type that's faster growing than the others.
Each variety in this blend germinates relatively quickly. 2-3 weeks, and grows at a similar rate. What you described won't be an issue.
