Grammarly Get 55% off Annual Plans until Aug 29

92

Grammarly is an English language writing-enhancement platform developed by Grammarly, Inc., and launched in 2009. Grammarly's proofreading and plagiarism-detection resources check more than 250 grammar rules. The 55% discount doesn't show up when you first log in. They will send you the offer via email. My suggestion would be to sign up for a free account and (hopefully) they will send you a newsletter with the 55% offer. I paid AU$83.12 for one year. Try this link after signing up: https://www.grammarly.com/m/signin?discountName=BacktoSchool…

Grammarly is available as an online text editor or free browser extension for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

Hi there I am interested but it takes me to the logon page with the following email address visible

[email protected]. I covered up some of the name with different letters.

Perhaps link to another page that gives the prices and info on the program

    • Sorry, thanks for letting me know. I fixed it.

  • They are originally 11.66 per month(139.95 p.a.)in USD, which is about 177 AUD
So 55% off would be 80 AUD p.a.

  • Anyone actually think it's worth the upgrade?

Maybe for those who missed out on https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/322579

If you are doing assignments and stuff it is. Try the demo if it still has one. If found it really useful, especially good if your English isn't great. English is my first language but I found this helped a lot in writing structure, giving suggestions in now to write.

      • how Grammarly must be switched off.

      The free version is great.

I haven't been marked down due to grammatic issues.

    • +1

Yeah, I've found this very useful for assessments and also work emails. Also, it's just great for general learning (if English is ya thuuung).

Tried the demo of this and it is really helpful for academic stuff

Man thank Christ for this if i didn't have it I would be always copying other people's work!

It's a lot better than the inbuilt spell checker. It is particularly useful if English is not your first language. The Premium version helps with sentence structure and synonyms. Also, the Plagiarism option seems helpful.

    • Yeah the plagiarism feature is great. Most Uni's use a similar programme to check your work. Can't remember if it helps re word sentences to remove plagiarism?

      • +1

        Yes, it does.

      • +1

If you have anymore than 10% plagiarism then you need to rethink how you approach your assignments, I average around 3% plagiarism and most of the time it's the references or titles being picked up.

Besides, on submission you get plagiarism feed back. This program probably isn't worth it.

      • Plagiarism feature of this software is not good enough so do not bet on it, Ithenticate is much better.

  • How do I get the discount? My account still shows the full price for the yearly subscription.

  • Tell me please how to make good sentences

Upgrade to Premium means: Twice as Many Corrections

How does that work? They hold back on grammar corrections commensurate with what you pay?

  • Nothing special. I get spammed with this type of offer once or twice a week from Grammarly and have done since the day i signed up. Still expensive for what it offers.

  • This post has nothing to do with nothing!
    Where? When? How much?
A percentage is relative, but to what?
Looks like a sockpuppeting post for Grammarly
The bottom line is that Grammarly is not worth $10 a month.
I guess the whole Microsoft office package is not that expensive! It is around $10 per month for up to 5 PCs and you get everything.

Not work, even click the link and register a new account.

  • this checks out.

Step 1 > Get free account
Step 2 > Wait for email.

Within 2 hours you'll get an email and sign up at 50% off.

  • I thought grammarly was free.

  • I use the free account for work (installed their outlook add on), unfortunately it disable undo functionality…

    • It also disabled the Room Finder functionality in the Outlook client, for me.

      • Yea…rather annoying if you need to undo stuff…I might give an alternative app a try and report back here…

        • It's rather hard to find a comparable application; I've looked at Ginger, 1checker, WhiteSmoke and unfortunately, none of them has the outlook/word add-on :(

  • I know this might not be right, but I managed to purchase a lifetime Premium account of Grammarly for cheap (~$10-$15US i believed).

Don't think I should link it here, but you can google it

I tried couple but seems grammarly no longer accepts these codes :(
