Soundfreaq sound platform from 2011. This is a good 30 pin ipod dock with bluetooth. Really old now but a great price with free delivery compared to original $249 retail. I dont think 49.95 will get you a better bluetooth speaker anywhere else.
Solid sound suitable for a bedroom or study. I bought two and dont want to be tempted to buy more so hoping they will all be gone.

Has a little cover you can put over it so you never need to see the dock.

What makes you say that? Never even heard of this brand before.
Just my personal opinion….. How else should I answer that question? Please do some research if you are interested in it but unsure if it suits for a cheap speaker option. For example it is AC power only so wont suit portable use.
Can't comment on this particular one, but Soundfreaq produced what was The Wirecutter's recommended bluetooth speaker for a while. Some better speaker has taken the Wirecutter's mantle now though.
30 pin? That's garbage bin collection in my house 3 years ago.
