25 LED Solar Powered Motion Sensor Outdoor Security Light $8.09 US (~$10.32 AU) Shipped @ Tmart

200

Cheaper than last deal. These motion sensor lights have more LEDs than most for a cheaper price. The light turns on at dusk and operates at full brightness when the motion sensor is triggered.

Still waiting on mine from the last deal. A few days off being a month. Hope it's worth the wait.

Got mine from last deal. Pretty bright for the price. Plastic seems ordinary. Hope they last more than a couple of years in the weather.

Comment from reviewer on this solar powered light.
"I am going to order more so I can put them in some dark cabinets under my sink."
    Winning at life.

Damn it's only one light I thought it was 25 from the description.

    • Still an awesome deal considering <12 LED versions are sold for more.

    • Can't wait for the day these things are sold in dozens

  • so at dusk this will turn on but not bright, and when someone walk into the sensor it will get brighter?

    • Correct. They're bright enough to see before the motion is triggered, but not too bright. I use the 12-LEDs across my shed.

  • Anyone own one who could comment on light output?

    • I got 2 from deal, fairly bright for a small area and do the job but one i got is dodgy so now have to get a replacement. I have mine dotted around on my fence line to provide some light at night.

  • How long does the solar charged battery last?

Enough to get through the whole night?
In the place where I want to put it might not get the full day of sun light….so less charge will still go all night long?
    Anyone with experience?

I just put mine up yesterday. Has a dim light that comes on when dark. It will brighten when you get into range. Range is probably only about 2.5 - 3.0 metres at an angle of about 120 degrees. It's good for some dark areas around the house where you might have to go out to occasionally and need a bit of light. I put one of mine near the bins and one by the side of the pool near the skimmer box.

Only the second night of use so not much to report yet. I can see one from the bedroom window and it's still glowing (9:40pm). I'm not going to stay up to monitor it for you though! :)

    • Mine was still glowing at 5:30 in the morning but it's only the third night of it being up.

Ok - still glowing at sunrise this morning. See image1 and image2 taken around 6:15am. The one on the brick probably only gets direct sunlight in the late afternoon as it's on the west wall of the house.

  • Thanks! Got two :)

  • what kind of battery does it have? thinking of buying 10 to put up on the fence and the side walls of the house.

Unsure about this one but others usually have a lithium battery enclosed. They're designed for outdoor use and are IP68 rated. Mine have been going strong for months in the rain.

  • Neighbours impressed of this light
