could even buy it and donate the food to RSPCA if you don't have a cat

    • +2

Wish I had a cat lol

    • and get a tax deduction for the goods given to the RSPCA

    • +13

I don't have a cat but I'm getting this and eating it.

        username checks out

Lamb with gravy. Easy dinner for the kids, and a cheap dvd from JB to add to my parenting tools?

  • +3

Whiskas food is horrible, even cats don't like it.

    • +7

      But pensioners do!

      • If only my account was at least 30 days old..

      • I would have laughed at this in my younger days but it is actually really sad the number of older people who actually do eat pet food. It is really sad seeing older people buy truckloads of it (and buy nothing else) when you know they do not have any pets…

    • +2

All supermarket pet food is horrible.

    • +1

Which brand do you find tasty then?

      • +1

        I like my feasts fancy.

  • 30th November still leaves plenty of time. Begs the question as to how many stores have stock of this. I would do this for $1.20 (per $10) off at JB personally, the feeling of donating (cat food) to charity just makes it even better.

    • +3

Charities will be getting a huge influx of Whiskas cat food cans soon. They won't know what to do with them all.

  • +1

Hope these are at my local store, here's my plan:

Buy a heap of them, feed them to my dog and sell the vouchers for $8 each.

    • +3

Yeah i guess you've mistaken your dog for a cat.

    • +1

Beware the after effects on your dog… you may not be able to pick it up with a bag.

      • +1

It wouldn't be his main meal, just a small amount mixed in with his usual food or as a treat.

Plus he eats heaps of bones to clean his teeth and they make his poo nice and firm.

        • -5

Better solution. You eat small amounts and dont make it part of your main meal. Idiots like you shouldn't own pets

        • @Shiv86:

Idiots like you shouldn't own pets

You can make that judgement without knowing a thing about him or me?

And my dog probably eats and lives better than you.

        • +2

@Scab: OMG, what did people do before we had marketed 'cat' food and 'dog' food. How did people tell which meat (or scraps) was only for cats or dogs.

I am sure that your dog (and its internals) will love the variety in its diet.

  • +5

I read that as 2 Whiskeys.

Yup, too early in the morning.

    • I read it as 12 Pack Fat Food.

  • +1

    Limit 5 per customer

  • +2

*Specially marked packs, there's a code inside the box, just make sure you pick up the right boxes.

    • +1

Yeah they are the packs with the JB Hi-Fi $10 Gift Card Giveaway on the front of the box. Look for those.

  • If this is similar to a promo done for Rebel Sport for buying two products (I think it was Up & Go), you can only use one voucher per transaction. You can stack them together.

    • +1

      can use multiple rebel voucher.

my daughter used mine and my mum's at same time, bought a sherrin for $60.

      no ID check.

  • These vouchers only valid for 6 months, as oppose to the normal 2 years.

    • You can always buy gc with vouchers.

  • How many $10 vouchers can you get? As many as you want or is there a limit per household?

    Thanks.

      • +2

5 per peson. Me and my missus just brought 10 packs each, got enough cat food for about 8 months now. The cat's paying us $12 for her food for the next 8 months now. Lucky she loved the first sachet we opened!

        • +2

You can extend your vouchers by two years, by buying an online gift card at Jb.

  • Same price in QLD, thanks OP

  • +1

Thanks Op as well.. definitely a win win situation, will come in handy for my upcoming November 7 purchase, and donations to the lost dogs and lort Smith hospital.

  • Excellent! Cat needs more food and I want a new PS4 game… win win!

  • Same price here in Rockhampton, QLD.

  • Great fish food

    • really?

I just might be crazy enough to try that!

      • +1

Yeah it works wonders - I use it as a bait and its been so successful

        • Now you're talking! I will be trying that.
After one Christmas, my mate had some green ham that cleaned up on the flathead.

  • Not all boxes are eligible so be careful when buying heaps of them online.

    • lol how many is that all up?

      • +1

20 boxes. Almost 6 months eating for the cat and $100 at JB Hi-Fi for me.

        • Are you sure you can use the two vouchers in one transaction? Did you use two different emails?

        • +1

@Will Brown: Yeah maximum of 5 vouchers/person. 10 Whiskas codes each for myself and the misses then I combined them for a $100 JB Gift Card.

        • @tinnybastard:

I saw an expiration date of 2019 on the packet. You load up more.

  • OP what phone do you have? That's a pretty clean photo.

    • +1

Metadata in the posted image indicates it's a Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F)

      • +1

Can confirm. Wanted an upgrade after the S5

Thanks OP. Picked up four boxes of Whiskas for our cat, plus we wanted two movies from the buy 2 UHD movies from the buy 2 4K's for $40 sale at JB. The Whiskas purchase got us $20 in vouchers for the cost of $17.60, paid the other $20 in cash (I know how silly this sounds right away, please read on), as my wife argued with me until she was getting really angry with me that she did not want to buy 8 boxes of cat food sachets just to cover the full $40 (So we would have paid $35.20 total), she could not see that for the other $20 we just paid JB directly we could have saved another $2.40 and also had another four boxes of his food too. I just could not get through about what we are throwing away.

Surely I cannot be the only person who had the same issue with their partner? (Sounds of silence here :-) )

Silly thing is, that my wife used to talk about some customers where she works selling lingerie (Close to my heart), where there would be an offer that if you buy one item, you can have another of your choice for free (Same brand), and that some older shoppers would think that she was trying to con them with this offer, and say they simply want the one item.
This whiskas and JB deal is so good you would think it is a misprint right? :-)

  • Missus thought it was funny that I was buying all this cat food because I want a new mouse
Hope there is a good Logitech promo soon
As for the cat she usually just licks the gravy off

  • Can you use all 5 x $10 vouchers in the one transaction online?

    • +1

Indeed. Buy a $50 gift card if indecisive.
