      I'm guessing you haven't shopped around then. These guys are expensive. I'm sure there's even cheaper than the below I've linked to.

        I'm guessing you haven't properly compared your example to the one above. As LoopyLou mentions, add the cage, spare wheel and the inspection/rego to your base price and you are already well over $1750.

        Century are also an OEM (probably moreso than a retailer) and the trailer in your Gumtree add looks like one of theirs.

    I just got a 7x4 trailer with 900mm cage from these guys. Shopped around, considered LHTrailers, Trailermaster and Stonegate, as well as second hand. I chose these trailers for a few reasons:

    • 100mm deep draw bar (as opposed to 70mm at the others)
    • tipping function (a couple of others include this, too - Trailermaster were slightly cheaper, but no tipping)
    • slightly better leaf springs than some (eye to eye)
    • full length side steps
    • LHTrailers only have 7 x 5 (slightly too wide, I decided)
    • offered a good deal
    • second hand trailers either needed time/effort/money (rusted floors etc), or would have cost almost as much as new (without warranty) once I added the cages I wanted.

    Plus they were generally communicative and happy to help out with specific requests. They make trailers for a number of other businesses as well (e.g. Budjet trailers).

    in answer to your question we have specials going all the time, sometimes i'll make up something just to put 1 on.
    If you want one of our trailers i'm more than happy to do it at the Ekka price for you.
