    • either way, must be redeemed by 30/9.

  • signed up for the 7gb+3gb bonus 10gb plan for about $26 per month upfront for a year about 3 months ago

    phenomenal value at the time,

    now its even cheaper

    amazing value

  • How does it work with keeping your number while swapping providers? I am currently with vaya.

    • you will get a sim card when ordering the mobile plan, it will come with instruction how. Basically you need to activate kogan sim card and when asked if you want to keep your number you say yes and provide your number.

      • Thanks, can't do it. Apparently I'd only get reception outside for the place in moving (Bairnsdale).

    • They just port your number across from your old provider, ending whatever plan/contract you had, doesn't take long to do it online these days.

  • +1

Done.. Seems woolworths runs out of kogan gift card. Purchase it from a user here, at less save me some $$$ and searching for it from woolies.

    • here's ozbargain trophy for you.

  • I got my sim card but I still haven't received the email yet. Anyone else?

    • something must be wrong, i've ordered 4 in the last week and all got vouchers in email in 10 mins. Chat with one of the staff.

    • I got it in my email straight after purchasing.

  • I have just purchased the 14gb plan and emails were received within minutes.

I bought 3 x Kogan $100 gift cards for 10% off from Woolworths and applied them to the purchase and paid the $15.08 balance via Paypal. I added my qantas frequent flyer card to the kogan account but seems to still only award one point per dollar spent.

Let's hope Vodafone coverage works for me in Adelaide's metro areas!!!!! I purchased this deal due to the large data allowance for the money. I was with Boost Telstra before ($30 for 4gb with 1gb extra per weekend). Let's hope I don't regret it!

  • not sure where to post but the price seem to have dropped even more for new customers and it's only until tomorrow (31/8)
    14gb + calls + text $9.90
    80% off

    • for the 1 month only. This has been around for a month or so.

  • Very bloody happy
Just switched from Optus. Shitload cheaper.

    Porting took 11 minutes!!

    Thumbs up for this deal

  • Man.. Been a week. It says dispatch on 28th August. Still didn't receive my simcard on Fri. My new cycle end this Sun. FML

    • Did you get the 12 months voucher code online or emailed to you? If so you can buy a $2 Kogan sim and use that for activating. Had a similar issue with Lebara and that's how I solved it.

      • Yes, I do but kogan told me other stores don't sell their simcard. You can only buy from kogan.com

        • +1

Mate as recommended, post on the classified section if anyone has spare kogan sim card that you can meet.

  • so kogan uses voda?
does this mean i wont benefit at all from a 700mhz (band 28) phone on this network?

  • What's the process for upgrading an existing plan? On the voucher page here https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-prepaid-voucher-co…

It says "If you’re looking to recharge your existing Kogan Mobile service, please head over to koganmobile.com.au and log in to your account."

When I log in, the plans listed there are not discounted. Am I doing something wrong?

    • +1

You need to buy this deal first, get emailed the voucher code, then apply that voucher to recharge on koganmobile.com.au.

      • Does it stack or override the existing service? Some comments earlier say both.

        • +1

Just called, it overrides your existing service. "You will lose your existing benefits of your current plan if you 'recharge' before it's expiry date".

Here's to hoping Kogan come out with another offer after this one.

        • @freestyler:
          Thanks, for checking.
Yea, I'd like a deal soon, because I don't mind Kogan, they've been good to me.

This deal hasn't expired. It has been extended to the 18th

    • Brilliant! Thanks scrimshaw!

    $16.90 for 6GB is a great deal.

    Thanks OP.

Finally got my SIM cards (ordered on 26th August). Both numbers ported in less than 15 minutes. Weird thing is, we have a stronger signal with both phones on Vodafone than we did with Telstra (iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung S8).

Purchased (5 x $100) KOGAN gift cards at 10% off and used Woolworths gift cards to pay, which were purchased at 5.5% off.

Total cost was $433.93 for two of the $20.90 p/m services.

    • Real spirit of Ozbargain. I missed the gift card sale, and the sale of Kogan will end soon.

      • I think 7-11 still has the KOGAN gift cards for sale at 10% off.

        • Thanks a lot. I got them from 7-11.

        • @nanoxz:
How does it work? Do you buy the gift card from 7-11 then redeem it when checking out with the Kogan SIM on the website?

        • @bm: You redeem them before your purchase.

        • @luztra:

          Sorry, I don't understand,

Do I buy the gift cards —> <redeem? where? how?> —> use the gift card on the SIM purchase?

        • @bm: Buy the cards. Go to Kogan website and log in. Go to account settings and redeem each card. Then purchase your voucher and at checkout choose your gift card balance as the payment method.

        • @luztra:

          Thanks!

        • @bm: don't forget to apply those kogan voucher from classified using which you can get price further down.

  • Can anybody around Melbourne/South East Melbourne comment on the Vodafone coverage these days??

    • +1

CBD was fine last time I was there.

    • +1

With my work I spend a lot of time in all capital cities, mainly CBD and airports. I get good coverage everywhere and at airports I would ditch slow free wifi and use my data. Data is cheap enough with deal like this.

    • +1

perfect and fast 4G around SE bayside areas

  • What will happen after a year time? Do I pay full price? And can I recharge the plan when there is a sale like this (Eg, recharge it after 99 days. Will the plan time period get add up or does it restart from the time you recharge it)?

    • +1

      you can recharge again after.

      Restarts.

      • Thanks for the info.

    • If there isn't a deal in a years time you will need to recharge at the normal price, or look elsewhere for a better deal.

  • Anyone successfully got Kogan to refund the remaing period of the previous contract when using the new 365 days plan to recharge? Apparently Kogan support told me I can't get refund because I used the same plan. If it's upgrade then they might be able to offer the refund.

    • Yea, they told me the same thing but I upgraded my plan from S to M so they did give me a refund.

  • I missed out on this deal. If anyone has a 11GB plan voucher and looking to sell, please PM me.

  • Still haven't receive the sim card

    • If you need it in a hurry, maybe a fellow OzBargainer in your area has a spare.

    • I have some spare, happy to pass you for free, will be in CBD on Sunday and Tue.

      • Thanks, ordered another one already, just don't want the voucher to expire.

        • No worries. Ordering another one won't make the sim card arriving any faster.
