The Merlin MR850 is currently on sale in the eBay Father's day sale for the same price with free shipping here, but you also get money back with cashrewards - so I'd probably rather buy it from eBay. I'm planning on self-installing, the instructions seemed pretty straight forward - such as this video

I am currently looking to install a roller door opener and found that Merlin is for professional install and Chamberlain is for DIY. They are made by same people.
You can get a Chamberlain from Bunnings for around $270 and install yourself or a Merlin MR650 installed for around $500
Wouldn't mind going a Merlin for an existing manual roller door.
Is self installation easy or better to leave that to the pros? Any idea on installation cost (Perth)?
