I think this is the best reward credit card I know. I managed to get about $1800 worth of points in about 2 and half years through Flybuys linked via coles credit card.
Despite having some full respect for Coles as a supermarket, I found this credit card to be one of the worst to deal with. Their online system is crappy and what put me off was that I agreed on a credit limit increase from $1000 to $3000 after their repeated invitations only to find out that they actually pulled my credit file out again and badly damaged my score. None of my other credit card providers had to check my credit for a credit limit increase.
I called them and they guy pretty much said this is the standard practice (only their practice though). Cancelled and was threatened to never apply again as am ineligible for life! Works for me.

I recently cancelled and reapplied for my Virgin High Flyer card to take advantage of this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/321933) and they were good enough to a) let me cancel and reapply so that I was eligible for the deal as a new user and b) as far as I can tell through creditsavvy did not even bother to do another credit enquiry on me.
Yeah it was strange. Probably not a threat (more like a warning) but the guy said you can apply only once for each of their credit cards or so I understood. I'd just be extra cautious and won't apply for their other credit card too (they have two I think).
How can they threatened you? Don't they know that the competition is fierce among credit card companies? Luckily I didn't say yes to their credit increment thing .
Yes worst credit company I have to deal with. Have that interest free promotion ,called two months before to confirm the last date to pay off to avoid interest and charges was told a different dates and started charging me interest. Need to call again and again to get the charges removed. Staff even accused me for being pay late and rude about it. Overseas call centre and get told diff thing every time . Moves to bank SA and never looked back.
It's weird one in that the Coles credit cards used to be part of GE, then Coles took over and now late last year Coles sold it to Citibank - so probably not surprising there is online problems.
Got targeted deal via coles app. spent 3000 dollars in 3 months and get 30,000 points. Which deal is better?
Flybuys targted offer says "This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers."So you can only get either 20k or 30k FB points.It really depends on whether you are willing to spend $3k in 3 months or just a simple purchase.
This doesn't seem very compelling imo… maybe if it had no AF.
