  • It says $30 for me, unless I am reading it wrong.

  • There's also now 14GB per month on the $40 plan. Does anyone know if recontracting on this plan will disable any extra sim cards attached to the account? I have one in my tablet.

    • I just did in July and no change for other data share sims.

      • What about bundle discounts?

I had $10/month off with my internet plan (was $90) but since then they had a new bundle discount of $20 which they didn't apply to me and now that's gone too with the lower priced plan of $60/month (internet). So I've just changed my internet plan from $90 to $60… Not sure if it affects my existing $10/month discount on my mobile….

  • kogan still cheaper?

No streaming included, if that is required.

Isn't this exactly the same price as Aldi Mobile, which is month-to-month, but on the Telstra network?

    • even the Kogan mobile unlimited with 14GB data yearly plan for ~ $26 monthly is better value than this

      One for the kids

I disagree as with postpaid you will be charged with excess data
Good luck with the $200+ bills putting you child on a postpaid plan

Or $27 with woolworths mobile (telstra). I think there might even be 4gb for first few months. Can't recall. Both aldi and woollies have data rollover. No lock in contract but you need an everyday rewards card and no free music streaming.

        • Aldi only has data rollover when you recharge the same amount or more. I was hoping to recharge $35 and drop down to $25 the next month for 7GB + 3GB across two months. Alas it's very good value.

        • I think woolworths have same limitations

This worked extremely well for me. I still had 4 months left on my Optus 24 month device plan, and they waived the early termination fee and the remaining device repayments. Thanks heaps. Saved me almost $180.

  • Free unmetered EPL on your device if you have Optus Fetch with EPL.

BTW What is the cheapest Android tablet with a SIM slot?
