    Could you technically purchase 15 of these and get an extra $150, then price match the Apple Macbook on sale at JB Hi Fi today only at $1,708. Then pay $1,500 in Gift Cards + $58 remainding to get a Macbook for $1558 ($150 paid off using Extra $10 Gift Cards)? :)

      Techincally yes, but you would have to wait for the next 10% off Sale because the extra vouchers don't arrive until the 1st of Sept.

        I used to work at Myer a few months ago, with the $10 free gift card, it was given to the customer in store when they purchased each $100 Gift Card (Yes people bought like 5 $100 gift cards at a time), so I was thinking you could actually do this all today..?

          Ohhh okay, I didn't realise it could be done in store as well. Yep that would work perfectly then if you buy 3x $500 cards and the manager approves the price match.

      My mum used to buy a few thousand dollars worth of gift cards at a time in-store because of the 10% bonus. I'd like to know too before notifying her, as she probably wouldn't be interested if the bonus wasn't issued instantly in-store.

        No you cannot get Myer one points when buying a gift card. All team members are instructed to not put it through if that's the case.

    meh, a lot of place offer 10% discount straight off Myer giftcard, few guys selling at this price in Ozb classifieds too. My employer reward program offer this as well but hardly found the deal noteworthy, once bought giftcard to buy some sales item on their site but ended up not available, the giftcard now being split up into 3 odd value cards now.

          Well if you intend to use a Myer gift card to purchase a Myer or Coles Myer gift card then we won't allow that. Other than that we don't care. I.e if you have those eftpos or Westfield's gift cards buy whatever

          @nobby148: From my experience the system actually rejects the Coles Myer Gift cards - so even if you were willing to "allow" it the system (smartly - don't know why more systems aren't like this) denies it. Does this still hold true?

          @illumination: This only holds true since February as they have disabled most of the eftpos machines function of manually punching in the card numbers and stuff (only a few eftpos machines in the store has the ability. Therefore only those machines allow it) This is only if you are paying with the Coles Myer gift card.

    This is perfect for big Lego buyers. Yes, i know Myer is slightly more expensive than Kmart, Big W and Target etc but if you wait for the sales 15-20% off Lego. This is worth it. And using the Myer one card to purchase, you get $20 gift vouchers.

      You can get David Jones giftcards at 10% off through the entertainment book. The Myer offer really is a 9.09% discount.

          I did it before I saw your post.having said that the terms and conditions said it ends 30/8 so even if the website hasn't been updated I wouldn't push it.

          Edit : I take that back! Terms and conditions say it's been extended to 3/9. I've just left the city!! :p

          So I think it stacks.

        Yep! Really depends on the person/area you're in. I bought it on the women's shoe level. When I went down to the area near Benefit, I overheard one of the sales people telling someone they can't get the $10 with Coles Myer.
