Any chance these will be restocked?

  • Chasing one if you restock

  • Sorry it's not looking like we will be able to free more units up before the end of this promo.

  • Got one and hooked up with my LG monitor via DisplayPort (DisplayPort to HDMI, only has 2 HDMI ports on monitor). Could only use the monitor in BIOS setup then became 'No Signal' right after that. Reformat the drive, installed Windows 10 and everything went smoothly with no problem at all until updating drivers and restarted, pops, same 'No Signal' issue happens again, so, I just reinstalled Windows 10 on it and stop updating new driver, it works. Anyone has same issues here? Looks like the new driver from Windows/Intel causes this particular issue (I tried installed newest driver from Intel and got 'No Signal' for my monitor after restarting). Thanks

    • Yep be very cautious with these and the seller. Got wrong power cord sent and having similar problems. Pretty average service.

      • Mate we are happy to help, at least get in contact with us first before making any assumptions. You can call our office anytime during office hours and speak with out staff for assistance.

        • Updated to lastest bios, changed hard drives, tried original and SSD drive. Still refuses to boot either way. Display port from monitor to computer. I will be trying to connect via HDMI/dvi adapter from monitor tonight as my last resort.

        • @rhys87: How are you able to update the machine to the latest bios but yet you state the machine refuses to boot?

        • @Calmago:
Sorry windows doesn't boot from both drives.

Used a bootable usb to update bios.

        • @rhys87: Whats it doing when it's try to boot? Is it looping all the time? If so check the SATA operation in the BIOS. It needs to be set to AHCI. The default is raid.

    • Is this a computer monitor or a TV? I've not heard of an issue like this, there must be some sort of compatibility issue.

      • it's a monitor, a bit weird but no biggie as I can use it now as long as I don't update the display driver at this moment, still looking for similar case(s) on Google but most related to nVidia cards which is not my case :)

        • If you don't mind whats the model number of the monitor? and as well are you using a DP to HDMI cable or adapter. I know there has been issues (no matter what machine) if you're using an adapter on the monitor end instead of the PC. Sorry, would just be nice to investigate a little if this issue is more common than we are aware of.

        • @Calmago: thank you for prompt response, unfortunately I just greeted with a blue screen and No Signal issue just came back :(. the monitor is LG 25UM58 25" 2560 x 1080 resolution

        • @Calmago: no luck this time, keep on turning on and off the still 'No Signal' detected on monitor. Also, have noticed when press the power button it seems like having a 'turbo like with the fan' like a strong 'phwww' then starts booting up, ocasionally not turn on with one press, need to press another time. Looks like my unit need sent back to you guys to have a look at. Im heading to bed now, will keep in touch. Thank you

        • @webtherapist: I'm just having a bit of a research but i'd dare say that, it may be a combination of either or some or all of the following. The driver been not able to support the ultrawide resolution. Or using the adapter cable or it may not be the right type of cable (HDMI version). The BSOD would more than likely be driver.

I'd say the best solution is to pick up a cheap graphics card. If you want to use it with that specific monitor.

Also process of elimination works well, do you have anything else to plug it into.

  • Sold out :(

Looking at this, could I place a 1050ti inside with no issues?

    • +1

Should do, that's been mentioned in the past.

  • is it possible to reuse the windows key on my new SSD or do i have to buy a new windows OS?

    • Yep, tho most SSDs come with tranfer software. I'd get a cheap USB caddy, put in the SSD, image the rust-spinner over then swap out the old one and have a USB back-up.

    • Hey, I'm note sure but if you're going to upgrade from windows vista and below you're going have to treat it like a brand new pc windows install. if you're going to put the key in your ssd make sure that the computer you're trying to upgrade is on boot from ssd

  • hey rep, I've got an error message on boot that says "rear fan failure message"
can you help me out please

    • +2

opened it up. the rear fan is non-existant -_-

Hi can you please email through directly on eBay if you have not done so already.

        • +1

I have done so and Rep replied in less than a day. They are express posting a fan to me now :)
I forgot to ask, but hopefully it will include the 4 screws

        • +1

@lakers1222: No worries, they don't have screws, they have weird looking rubber things that fix them in place, they have been included.

        • +1

@Calmago: you are awesome :) thankyou for including the weird looking rubber things

        • @lakers1222: Damn, Hope all is fixed. Every time when you buy a refurb make sure that it has all the right components.

        • +1

          @BrodenIt:

It's all fixed. I even put in a low profile 4gb 1050 ti gfx card and everything is running great.

I tried to get a windows ISO off the Dell website using my service tag but i get this:

    Recovery image currently unavailable.
The recovery image download could not be generated due to missing information. Please contact technical support for assistance.

If i get access to a Dell windows install disc will that be fine with my product key?

    • Sorry for the late reply. But what are you trying to do?

  • Hey guys I'm having trouble installing windows onto the SSD. So I cannot download an ISO because it won't verify the key. I tried using a home premium disc that I had to install but the key isn't compatible.

It's annoying the the OS key or the PC Dell service tag won't verify on the dell website so I can't go through h either website.

Does anyone know how to fix this. All I want to do is reinstall windows onto the new SSD.

    • The Machines are loaded and Licensed for Professional. Your copy of Home Premium won't work.

      • Ugh I know, but how do I reinstall onto the SSD.
