Tor Guard VPN 50% Discount for Life off All Services

TGLifetime50

I am not sure if this code did expire, but there was a deal posted 18 months ago for it. So I thought I would post anyway since it is old.

Tor Guard has a 50% off for life promotion going on. No expiry given.

They have a bunch of services but the main service is the VPN which is now priced ..

1 month USD$4.99 (was $9.99)
3 month USD$9.99 (was $19.99)
6 month USD$14.99 (was $29.99)
12 month USD$29.99 (was $59.99)

Personal experience
I have 100/40mbps NBN and I get 80/30mbps with Optus normally.
I was using NordVPN and getting about 5mbps when accessing an Australian VPN
Now with Tor Guard I get around 78/26mbps when I connect to Melbourne or Sydney or I get around 35-40/18mbps when I connect to LA.

If you want to watch US netflix you will need to get a dedicated USA IP (costs extra, but it discounted).

Tor Guard allows 5 simultanious connections, so if you are tight like myself, go in quarters with a couple of mates and get US netflix and Linux ISO's for $2.50/month.

Lastly, tech support with these guys has been amazing.

Tor Guard are kinda slow IME. PIA is a lot better.

PIA seems better than some of the others I've tried.

PIA is ok but have had problems the last year with a lot of their servers showing US IP's regardless of which server you connect to. The two AU servers show US ips.

I had a subscription last year.
It was really quick for the first 4-5mths, then just bogged down to be quite slow. ibVPN had a deal, so I joined up, it was so much quicker, I used to swap back to TorGuard every few weeks to try it out, but it remained slow. This was for US(LA), UK, Nederlands, Germany, India. Ivacy (which I got a lifetime for $40) was quicker.

I'm not sure if they've updated their client, but you couldn't select servers, just cities/countries, so if you got onto a dud server, disconnecting/reconnecting meant you usually got the same server again.

      Truly champagne comedy!

  • my torguard with dedicated IP (LA) connected using asus router is 5/10 on my 100/40 fttp nbn optus.

  • Could any one tell if can I buy 1 dedicated IP for Netflix and share it with my mate? Or do I have to choose n party for 2 simultaneous connections?

    • Its not about the IP.. Your netflix account knows how many devices are active

  • I have a lifetime subscription (100 years) with VPN Unlimited, and from memory cost me around the 60 dollar mark. It's of my personal opinion paying an annual subscription for a VPN service a waste of money. But, you're all probably thinking, "but how do you know they're are going to be around for a lifetime?"… well, the fact of the matter is, I don't. But just like most things in life, it's a risk you take. I'm still on Telstra cable and can confirm the reliability and speed with them is quite reasonable and meets my needs adequately.

From time to time, lifetime subscriptions on VPN services do become available on occasion. Therefore if you're not in a hurry, do a little research and find the best solution that works for you.

    • VPNUnlimited is sooooo slow! these guys are slow, but in comparison VPNunlimited is in reverse.

STatcksocial usually has VPNunlimited lifetime plans. aslong with plenty of other providers. handy to grab one for a backup

  • This is a excellent vpn. Good speeds, good support over all A+ from me.

  • The IP for watching Netflix etc is normally US$7.99, so a years worth is going to cost US$6.50 (A$8.16) per month at the 50% discount price (once you buy the VPN as well).

  • Sorry never used this type of deal before, just want to clarify.

I get 50% off, now and all future renewals (assuming I keep on renewing before it expires.)
