Box arrived yesterday and got my groceries sorted for the week.

Code seems generic and sure enough, worked for a new account.

Delivery area excludes Tasmania and Western Australia.

          @melpoo: Checked my calendar this morning and the delivery has been removed. Looks like they've done it again!

    • Did you cancel PayPal agreement? I assumed it was a generic email because of that, hopefully the 'final delivery' happens.

        Nope, in fact my paypal just got deducted this morning (for the $1). I didn't cancel anything, hoping the delivery still comes

        • Same got charged $1 even though they cancelled my order

        • The $1 is usually just an authorisation fee esp when you sign up to any subscriptions . They want to make sure your payment method is legit. They usually refund this $1 back to you in the next few days

          Unfortunately i've cancelled it in my paypal which i presume means they probably cant issue the refund to me :(

  • I think some people here are too anxious. When you subscribe you can skip as many orders you want, and you have enough time to do it. For example, I have my boxes on Sunday. I can skip the next Sunday delivery by Wednesday. So if you are getting the first box free you can just wait for the delivery. You will have 3 days to cancel or skip the following delivery.

      No-one cancelled their subscription. Hellofresh did it without being prompted.

  • Mine seems to be cancelled without me actually cancelling anything. Not sure how they know who has the code legitimately and who got it from here? It still says there will be a delivery on Sunday so I guess we shall see.

  • I actually received the same code from the Qantas Assure app as I participated in the promo they were running. Was waiting for a good time to use it for a box that I might like. Went online last night to use it and I find out it's invalid cause it got OzBargined lol.
    They need to learn not to give generic codes if they don't want something like this to happen. Looks like they might reissue codes again.

        The QANTAS promo has finished.
        You can maybe ask someone that subscribes to Hello Fresh already to give a unique free box code to you. I believe they give you like 5 free codes to give to friends.
        I didn't know my sister subscribed already and when I told her about this, she told me she has a free box code and gave that to me. So ended up getting a free box anyway.

  • If they threaten to cancel account and remove my details from the system I would expect not to be able to login to their technical issues-prone website. Is it just me who got the email and still can sign in?

  • Order never got delivered (was scheduled today), even though i got a reminder that it would be delivered today, and no emails about technical issues/order cancelled. Completely led me on. Hello fresh you need to get your sh*t together.

    So believe it or not, I ended up getting a box delivered today. Haven't been charged anything - I cancelled the PayPal payments as soon as I signed up.
