Just received this email from Hoyts. Targeted to Hoyts Rewards Silver members.

To celebrate our exciting new partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer, we'd like to give you some BONUS* Qantas Points! All you need to do is see any^ movie during the month of September and we'll give you 250 BONUS* Qantas Points on top of the usual 2 points per $1 spent on eligible purchases!**

This promotion is valid from 12:01am Friday 1 September - 11:59pm Saturday 30 September and is applicable to HOYTS Rewards Silver members receiving this email. Upon meeting the criteria, which for the avoidance of doubt is to see ^1 movie. Excludes complimentary tickets, vouchers, tickets redeemed via HOYTS Dollars, Movie of the Week sessions and any other discounted movie sessions, during the month of September 2017. Eligible members will be awarded a *one off bonus 250 Qantas Points. Members must have added their Qantas Frequent Flyer number to their HOYTS Rewards member profile to be eligible. **HOYTS Rewards Silver members will earn 2 Qantas Points per AU$1 spent on eligible purchases up to a maximum of 800 points per transaction.   I didn't get an email but when I log in to Hoyts there is something about Qantas Frequent Flyer Points. Maybe that's it?

    Exactly who buys full priced movie tickets these days anyway? I hardly use my Qantas points as well. I know I don't have many anyway. Now Flybuys is a different story….
