  • why do they allow shipping of the ironwolf pro to AUS but not the plain ironwolfs?

    • Its a lot of coin to drop on a 2tb especially when you can get a 4tb Deskstar NAS 7200 drive from newegg for $133us each or a wd red 5900 for a few dollars more, they are overkill for the average home nas\freenas box and enterprise is looking at higher density drives

  • My only problem here is 2TB, regardless of whether they're the best drives on the planet is just not enough storage for 2017.

    But that's just my take, I'm sure others will disagree.

  • 1.2 million hours MTBF - geez, talk about overkill!! That's 136 years. Who is still going to be using a hard drive in even half that amount of time?
