    Absolutely junk machines.
Ours kinda works, but we hate it.
Makes a hell of a racket, jumps around, seems that the shock absorbers die in them usually within the 1st 12 months.
Happened gradually enough that we weren't able to get it sorted in warranty.
Electrolux offered us a new unit at a reduced price, but we'd never buy one again anyway.

Just sharing my experiences….. and longing for times when whitegoods were durable and economically repairable.

did you forget to take the 3 screw holding the drum in place before using it?

      • Was setup per the manual, worked perfectly the first times it was used.

Ouch our Electrolux broke after many years, just replaced with the same capacity Bosch.
Wish I didn't order online, the Bosch is plastic junk, hopefully this is better.

They should be rated by volume not weight, I expected that the same amount of clothes would fit into the Bosch, as it had the same capacity rating, hell no.

Much worse brands than Electrolux, price is excellent.

  • Abit torn here between virtual81 and SmithInOz possible horror story or common issue and Electrolux crap would think the Lg Samsung ones were to be avoided and Electrolux Bosch fisher and paykel were the way to go

Got this model 3.5 years ago, working smoothly, nothing to complain.

high upfront cost but lasts a long time

  • How does this compare to a Bosch?
