There is also the Essenza Mini plus Aeroccino for an effective $19:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Nespresso-EN85LAE-Delonghi-Es…

    • Would this be the better buy? The other half plans to buy the aldi one but this looks even better.

      • +3

I bought the Essenza Mini plus Aeroccino last week. My wife said the milk frother is worth the extra cost.

        I tend to agree.

      • +1

Definitely better, if you don't mind the colour. The frother is well worth the extra - kids use it all the time for hot chocolate/milo.

        • I'm getting this just for the frother too as i have the inissia machine already. not sure how the essenza mini works.

      • +1

It's a better buy because the frother is normally $89 or $99 on its own. You're paying $19 for it.

        Sadly it's in lime green.

    • Yeah good suggestion, much more stock too :)

  • +1

    No Stock in WA.

  • Sorry, another question. Where can you buy pods for this? Thanks.

    • +1

coles, woolies, iga, supa iga, everywhere..

      • -2

        I prefer Nespresso pods.

    • +2

The L'OR ones from Coles are OK and recyclable (aluminium).

      • Tried those. Had high hopes. For some reason they just don't seem to extract as well as the pods from nespresso.

        • You're probably right and it probably also depends on which machine you have too (I use the Lungo ones with my Pixie). I should have kept some of the Nespresso ones to compare.

  • Whats the difference between this and Inissia? Sorry newbie in an espresso machines.

    • I think the Inissia is the older model and out of production. It had been replaced with this model. Shop attendants at Nespresso store said they are have the same parts with a new look.

    • reviews online seem to compare inissia and this? They look quite different and this one is slightly smaller from the online review. I would think the inissia is abit more sturdier and looks abit more expensive with quality to suit?

Provided the coffee extraction is roughly the same then i guess the lime green is do'able vs the nicer black inissia given it's $189 from good guys. I see it go down to mid $130'ish at times after cashback, but don't think we'll ever see the same canary yellow deal they had when i got my first inissia (similar to this, i think it was $119 or something less 40 cashback so i ended up with a $79 inissia and frother).

THis is proably way better with the $60 in coffee pods though. they make it up with new customers but for existing we probably make more out of it by getting a machine and frother for $19 lol. glad i didn't buy the breville frother for $100ish from myers with the recent ozb sale.

  • Nice! was just about to pop into the good guys for the $139 frother - $99 with cashback. but bonus $20 with the ebay thing. awesome!

Now the question: lime green or this off white creme…

    • Only the lime green comes with the frother

      • Sorry misread the post. I put 2 + 2 together but i think others might thing the creme one is solo or a frother version for $79 -whereas you mean the lime green is?

I wonder - is the $40 redemption per usual to do with an unique nespresso account and customer? Seems to be (just checked) one per customer. or you could sell the frother as some have in the past.

I note this in the nespresso conditions though - do you think the $20 ebay voucher qualifies as voiding under this:

"This Offer is not available in conjunction with any otherNespresso promotion, offer or discount. The offer is not available to customers who use points/rewards from a third party loyalty program as full payment towards a Participating Product at a Participating Retailer. A Participating Product does not include Nespresso Business Solution machines. The Offer is not valid for commercial sales, second-hand, refurbished, trade seconds or similar products as determined by Nespresso in its sole discretion "

        • Possibly and if my cashback gets denied I'll be returning this back to TGG. Has anyone else been refused the cashback because of something similar?

        • @pom:

just re-read it and it does say "who use points/rewards from a third party loyalty program as "FULL" payment towards a participating product".

The saving grace may be full payment. That said - can you return click and collect at the store of collection for full refund?

This is frustrating though with click and collect - says it will be ready to pick it up tomorrow but i know there's stock in store. do I just go into store and would they just use common sense and give me one??? or do they need to go through the full motions of 'preparing' it for click and collect? Anyone experienced? my only worry is online says in stock… but is their inventory up to date and do they honour if sold out?

        • +1

Honestly I think the title covers enough (it doesnt mention any colours), and would be really difficult to fit Cream & Green in there! But that's why it says in the description:

And thanks to kirt, you can get the Lime Green version with milk frother for $79 here

As to the Nespresso terms… you'll get a full tax invoice from TGGs, which won't have the $20 voucher, and likely wont even mention eBay, so you'll be fine :)

        • +1

          @SaberX:

says it will be ready to pick it up tomorrow but i know there's stock in store

They'll need to get someone to actually 'pick it' for you. You may very well get it sooner

        • @Spackbace:

haven't clicked and collected in awhile.. do they give you the normal receipt and put it into the system as if you purchased directly in the store?

        • +1

          @SaberX:

From what I can see, yes, you get the tax invoice when you go in store. (I did a search of my email for "Good Guys invoice" and it only came up with Paypal receipts)

        • @Spackbace:
          fair enough.

i guess the only real reason besides warranty is neeeding it for claiming the cashback, as it does seem to cover onlien stores as well (provided they have a retail presence) - so good guys seems to be covered?

        • +2

@SaberX: i purchased one last night, picked up today and got a normal good guys receipt, It also came with 16 pods.

        • +1

          @SaberX:

so good guys seems to be covered?

          Yeah, you'll be fine :)

        • @onyxx:

So it doesn't mention anything about an Ebay Discount?

        • -1

          @onyxx:

oh yeah, the normal boxes usually include some outdated selection of pods. I usually don't use all the lighter ones so off into tiramisu or the 'guests' pile haha.

i rang and they had two today in store so i was just nervous that their online ordering was a typical outdated one where they end up taking over orders and refunding you when they can't meet it haha. hence why iw as hoping to jump the queue and pickup instore today :P

        • @pom: doesn't mention any Ebay Discount and i used the 10% store wide, The tax invoice shows $139. it was $220 in store today as the $139 price expires today.

        • +1

          @onyxx:

The 139 store is still in tags today. The sale ends today per catologue.

Just picked it up. I rang and they said it was fine and they were going to pick it in 20 mins anyway. So no need to pick it up tomorrow. Managed to grab it and a 27 bucks sumbeam cafe grill for 27 bucks as it was near the machines for sale. Pretty decent prev 44.

          https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/sunbeam-compact-cafe-grill-gr…

Only downer is it has a ribbed top. The flat top and bottom would be better for toasties and cleaning i reckon. Oh well. Half the price of the flat. Cheap toasties until i upgrade.

Bought one with the milk frother, cheers! :)

  • They're going to pull this listing soon "due to an error in the listing" I bet.

  • Original deal expired

  • Why has this deal been expired. They still have stock so what is wrong with the deal?

    • +1

The eBay $20 off voucher which makes this deal good was cancelled. Effectively add $20 to every price you see in the original post.

      • +1

you can use the 10% off code, not good as the $20 but not that bad

  • Just bought one "NEW Nespresso EN85LAE Delonghi Essenza Mini Capsule Machine - Lime Green" for $119. Just reading comments now thats it's expired.
    Did I pay extra?
Edit: I can see the FB $20 code expired. So I paid the correct price!

    • If you have got the code, you still can use it, there's no problem at all.

      • Thanks, good thing I got the code and saved it on notepad. :)

  • +1

Not sure if the Ebay deal is returning, but for those that still want this and willing to pay a bit more, you can still get 10% off using PAINT code. Would make machine with frother $125.10 and machine only $106.20

    • Plus then you get the $40 cashback so that is almost the same deal.

    • And don't forget the $40 cashback offer. 10% off is a ~$14 saving for the machine with frother, which isn't all that different compared to $20.

    • Didnt realise th3 ebay code expired? I mustve judt snuck in before 3pm awst

  • +3

Bought two! One for work and one for home. Used "PAINT" code on eBay and almost the same discount.

    • +1

Be sure to read the terms - you and your missus / friend / family member may want to submit separate claims for each machine:

"Only one (1) claim in total will be accepted per customer during the Offer Period. For example, if the claimant purchases 3 machines, only one (1) claim will be accepted by the Promoter for the offer."

      https://www.nespressopromotion.com.au/Fathersday2017/cashbac…

      • Wont work. Invoice will be in one name.

        • Depends on the definition of customer I spose - might be able to argue it's per Nespresso customer as opposed to Good Guys, ebay, or paypal customer.

    • Hope you realise the nespresso 60 and 40 bucks clearly say one per claimant. So you need to get someone else to buy it and claim it or your paying full price lol. Unless you didnt mind

  • Bugger! Will see if I can return one then. Thanks for the heads up!

  • +1

I picked mine up from tgg and there was no sign of any discount on the receipt - cashback and coffee credit was accepted without any issues. good deal - cheers.

  • Anyone that's claimed … how long did the eft cash back part take? I've got the coffee credit but still waiting on the cash part.
