  • This code can't be applied to your order.

Did anybody else have the same issue?

    • Same here, been looking out for a deal on the SL mini, but it's not working for it

Have you got an Australian registered Paypal account and does your Paypal and eBay email address match? That's the most common issue with these eBay deals.

        • I have an Australian address and debit card set up with paypal, and the same email address between paypal and ebay, but I've found there's a hidden "nationality" thing that gets set when you sign up, and is unchangeable :/ Really inconvenient if you regularly reside in different countries..

      • the voucher code can't be used for non australian ebay account. to solve this I create new account and make sure you register from australian internet and set my address as australian address.

    • Nup, no issues - worked fine for me. $319.20 for the QC30!Forgot to activate Cashrewards though. Such a shame!

Maybe try installing the browser plugin for Cashrewards. I use it and it works great. Reminds me to login whenever I visit an online shop that works with Cashrewards.

I still forget sometimes, as I dismiss the Cashrewards "Activate" message thinking that I am just browsing the site… but end up buying something.

        • I dismiss the Cashrewards "Activate" message thinking that I am just browsing the siteā€¦ but end up buying something.

          Exactly what happened to me!

  • I've just tried it, it works. Now I'm just contemplating to buy or not to buy? What are the chances of a lower price, so sad I missed the $250 deal :(

Finally gave in and bought a pair of qc35's. Thanks op

  • I hope they will be in stock later today.

    • History shows things usually sell out quick especially when there's limited quantity to begin with.

I know it will never be 250 again but when will it be 299!

This is pretty decent if you can combine with TRS refund

    • **TRS refund ** —> You mean buy only when you plan a trip overseas ?

      • Majority buying these use them for travel

      • Yes, ozbargainers are always travelling so it's a good option

  • Made the plunge to the QC35 and bought this deal. Thanks OP

  • qc45 coming out this month according to rumours.

    • It's just updated QC35 with new programmable button on left ear cup.

      • Probably will update the bluetooth version as well.

    • coming out in 2 weeks according to Bose DFO staff

  • Bought one, thanks OP

  • Hey guys

Is the Myer eBay receipt sufficient for TRS refund?

    • As long as it has Tax Invoice written on it and within the date limits it's fine.

  • dam! I just bought qc35 for $375 from JB hifi

  • When you see something on Ozbargain so many times that you really want to buy it even though you have a perfectly good set of headphones that you already spent too much on… Excuse me while I go and sign up for yet another amex card

  • Lowest price ever for QC35 is $254 right? No chance it will happen again I guess..

  • Do you think one can get TRS on this item if this was bought through the online MYER store?

    TRS= Tourist Refund Scheme 10% off I thought…

    • As long as you get a GST invoice it'll be good.

Yep- invoice is provided after the order is processed. Mine arrived within 10 mins of the order. It's an actual Tax Invoice so you'll be able to claim it from TRS. In fact, the Tax Invoice shows the full amount (i.e. not inclusive of the 20% discount) so it looks like you paid more, which means more tax back.

    • It's slightly less than 10%. Basically divide the purchase price (inclusive of gst) by 11 to get the gst refund figure. So if the total price was $300, then your trs refund will be $27.27

too bad I can't use myer gift cards on it

    • +1

Agree- it sucks that you can't use Myer gift card. I have a $200 gift card that was gifted to me 6 months ago but haven't seen any good deals in store or online to spend it. Only Myer eBay has great deals that suit my needs.

  • Would they price match at JB Hi Fi ?

    • No they won't. It's up to store and the person you speak with what price they will offer.

  • QC35 out of stock?

  • +1

I showed the ozbargain page on my phone at JB HiFi Carindale. They price matched and I got a QC35 there and walked out with it.

  • Grabbed a pair of the QC35's, a few friends have recommended them and the lower models.

A review mentioned that the noise cancelling wasn't adjustable but I noticed in a recent firmware update changelog they've added the feature now.

Myer would not price match their own ebay store instore so ebay it is.

Unfortunately I couldn't get any myer one points / use any vouchers but c'est la vie.

    Thanks OP!

Myer won't match because it's not Myer providing the 20% discount, PayPal wears that. I had a stack of Myer rewards & cba points to use so opted to buy directly from myer today. The only regret I learnt after is the tax receipt, or the GST component is only on the small sum I had to pay after points. It's not based on the sale price. Not the best value to use points, but I only had to pay a small sum to buy them

      • Is paypal honestly t wearing the full amount of that 20% discount? That's mad.

Anyway, got my headset a couple of days ago. Very comfortable, battery life seems great, noise cancelling is top notch (although it does specifically seem to allow voices through).

Only one thing to mention (albiet too late). I can't get the thing to do high quality stereo audio AND let me use the mic at the same time - if you want to use the mic the whole thing throws over to a two speaker, low quality, mono mode. A gaming headset this isn't.

        • +1

this is what the guy from Myer told me. He said they can't match the 20% on the ebay store as Paypal are providing that discount. I've heard the same thing from another retailer. Maybe they don't provide the entire 20%, but I'm sure it's shared between ebay/paypal and the retailer.

  • The pigs cancelled my order for the QC35's and refunded the amount without so much as an email explaining why.
