Price was jacked. Was $699 earlier this afternoon. Now, $720.

    • Thanks for letting me know, considering the cheapest full size card without any coupons is $589 @ Scorptec.

    • Price jacked in anticipation for the upcoming sale, huh.

    • +1

We should buy the item, and give them a negative feedback. Explaining to them that price jacking is unacceptable.

      • ebay 20% sales are rather pointless now and you really only get like a 2% discount in comparison to RRP.

    • jacked it up $21, discount amounts to $144.
Futu are pretty good even when they are being bad.

      Only 30 Units available.

I would like to know who missed out on this deal given it hasnt even started yet.

  • Would this card fit alright in an AsRock Ab350 Pro4 mobo?

    • Yes. Make sure your case has room.

      • Thanks mate. Got a nzxt s340 elite so I should be all good.

  • Can people stop posting items from futu. A majority, if not all of their deals are more expensive than those not on sale on other stores.

    • Can people stop bitching about Futu? Yes, they show higher prices than other stores normally. But posted deals always come up during 20% off sales, when they are often the cheapest available locally. Show me a deal, besides the limited time deal from Shopping Express that the OP already linked to which is now expired, where you can get this cheaper.

This particular card on Static Ice is $585 from Umart, plus shipping if you're not able to pick up http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=Galax+GeForce+G…. Futu have stock, and are fast to deliver. I wouldn't buy from them when they aren't on sale, but with any 20% off sale they tend to be cheaper than anywhere else local, and I have usually received my order in the past within two or three days.

  • Found this on Galax website(under VGA support):

"GALAX (Galaxy Microsystems Ltd )(“GALAX”) hereby warrants their Graphic Card for different regions with different terms to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”), subject to all the terms and conditions as specified herein. This warranty does not apply to auctions, eBay, second hand purchase of products or physically altered or amended." GALAX’s sole obligation under this warranty is to replace or, at its option, to repair, free of charge, all the product’s defective parts.

So, all GALAX card sold on ebay without warranty?

    • So, all GALAX card sold on ebay without warranty?

No, in this case you are purchasing it from a retailer and will receive a tax invoice. I would assume they're talking about private sellers on eBay.

If you still have any doubts, it's probably best to send them an email to find out.
