I know these are good TVs and I know they are the high end models, but $3500 for a 75 inch is what the big brands charge. Surely a budget brand should charge budget prices.

If you shop TVs based on brand then that may be relevant.

Yeah, for their low end non-HDR units when on sale…

75" TVs don't scale well with either LCD or OLED panels. Each increment is roughly a 65% increase on the price on the last, which is the standard right now.

This is $500 cheaper than JB's current price, which is their cheapest 75" HDR panel by $1000 no less.

I'd also suggest this is an older shipment than the 55" and 65" models, which would get more foot traffic. All of that conspires to push the price higher.

yes $3445 delivered or $3395 pickup from GG. I'll edit post.

        • Why not delete the 75inch one in your deal. The ozbargain rules say we should only post the cheapest.

I'll delete it from the headline and just leave a note in the description.

Hisense 55N7 vs Sony Sony KD55X7000E? Thoughts anyone? The Sony is $1185 with the Good Guys sale. The LG 55UJ654T is also about the same price.

I've read a couple of reviews claiming the N7 is the best under $2000, but maybe compare in store yourself!

      • Ended up splurging for the Sony 55” KD55X9000E (backlit, 100Hz, etc). Got HN to price match the VideoPro price of $1913 with the PICNIC code. I thought the Hisense software was pretty sketchy and I just like the Sony look. For value though you can't beat the 55N7. I'd skip the 7000E, as it isn't 100Hz. Just a few thoughts of the past few days research!

    • Not sure they deliver outside SA.

        Carry-on JetStar?

  • bought 55 inch N6, after cash rewards and ebay discount, cost $900 including delivery, good price at the current market?

    • The N6 is much worse than the N7. The price difference was about $250

  • LG 49” 49UJ654T Ultra HD Smart TV is also a good alternative buy with the 20% off

  • is the TH75EX780A any better than the 75n7?
