    The suction cup doesn't like summer heat. If we leave the car parked in the sun, after about 30 mins it (suction cup + camera) falls off the windscreen. So we remove the camera (2 secs to slide off the mount and remove USB cable) when parked in the sun (leaving windscreen mount stuck on). Then reattach when driving again (3 secs as need to plug in USB cable). When driving with sun blazing we haven't had them fall off. It loses time slowly (about 1 minute a week). Otherwise great camera and never played up.

    We have 2 of them and they both behave exactly the same.

      Put some water on the suction cap, this creates a better seal.

    Any users here got one of these, and has feedback? I bought 4 of these previously and have found quality to be hit and miss, I have 2 that are permanently frozen, purchased Jan 17 and hardly been able to be used. 1 out of the 4 has been perfect.

      i've had one for about just over a year and found it to be great, needed it on one occasion and was very clear. the suction cup does fall off sometimes. about to grab another 2 for family. i bought a 3m long usb cable to power it from the USB port in the car (charging only cable) and its worked well.

    Bought 1 from GB last year. Was happy until the unit went on a constant reboot/reset. Would turn on. Then off. On and off.

    That's when I found — the hard way —
    that returning items to GB can be such as PITA.

    Mine died after a year. No longer turns on. Probably burnt from heat. Suction cap is annoying too. Always falls off. Still looking for a replacement

    I had one that kept on falling off the window.
    After a while it stopped working.
    I was about to bin it when I found that it worked fine when I replaced the USB cable
    It seems the constant falling damages the connector wiring in the USB cable.
    So if you have one that has stopped working try another usb cable
