    Bought 2 for 1.97$ AUD

    • Ditto, although now Spring is here, hopefuly they'll be delivered by next April when I need them,

  • Was about to checkout with one but added another for my wifes bike and bingo, it works for two! $1.96 AUD total. Doesn't work for more than two though.

EDIT: Tonyyang, you beat me by seconds :)

I always think these are fancy RAM sticks every time this pops up

    • +1

This fancy USB stick provides a single Multi Level Cell of flashing memory that can be used to store 2 bits. However, if you want a lot of storage the 16GB (or so) ram sticks are better value because they provide roughly 64 billion times more storage all for only a few dollars more. (Also the USB interface on the 16GB ones is data enabled so you don't have to manually read values from each cell, a handy feature when you have billions of cells).

      • One bit actually

        • +2

This cell can be used to encode at least two bits. Off: 00, Strobe 01, Flash 10, Steady: 11 (That's not even counting the "chasing flash" option which could provide an average of over 2.3bits per cell with a multicell encoding). MLC in flashing memory is similar in principle to flash memory: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-level_cell

  • Thanks TA

Any chance of a headlight deal as well :)

    • Seconded!

  • +1

I thought it was ram by the picture lol

    • +1

Thought they were calipers for a sec too.

  • Shit I was ripped off =(

  • TA at times I am ambivalent about your posts. On one hand, your deals are always terrific, on the other hand you often post deals cheaper than recent posts. You end up costing me money :)

  • Nice, thanks TA!

  • I got an error while checking out and now I can not use the code :(

Code for single unit price only; VIP Price, Special Offer or Group Deal all exempt.

I had to use my gf's account to buy 2. Thanks op

  • +1

    Thanks Ta :)

  • Why did I buy 2? I dont even have a bike.

  • $0.98 Thanks!

  • +1

I've got one of these and just note the battery life is less than 1 hour for me on steady flash, so not really much use for a normal ride.

    Might just be mine though.

  • The Code you entered has expired.

    • Still worked for me just now

  • Why do I want two?

    • one of each leg? !

  • I bought 2.

    I don't need 2.

edit: oops, I forgot to CR it ^_^ hahaha

  • Would be nice to have some of the better lights in their range on discounts like this…

  • Yep - no need for 2 more taillights. Just in case though ….. (only about 20 left apparently)

  • Got one

  • +2

I personally advise to look for a different light. It's not worth to compromise your safety. The charge lasts only 2-3 hrs and you never know when it will run out of juice. Had it happen during night rides quite often. The conventional lights with AA/AAA battery are more convenient this way.

    • At this price, it'd be a good idea to keep two at all times (always have one fully charged and alternate).

      • Yeah, probably. But I think I'd rather buy $2-$3 alternative with AA/AAA battery option. I had one for nearly 3 years and no issues at all until the inner components corroded completely after the rainy season)))

    • That's why you buy TWO!!!

      • for the price of two of these you can get a decent aa/aaa model. If you already use rechargeables it's a far better choice I reckon. The battery here will degrade more easily…and 99.99% of owners will just add the light to the e-waste pile rather than seek battery replacement when the time comes…assuming they get half-decent battery to begin with.

        • +1

I bought these a while back—waster of money, dont lastr for more than 30 minutes

        • @daves: As per my comment below, mine have been running perfectly for 5+ hours so no problems here.

    • Took delivery of my two earlier today and put them on charge straight away just to make sure the batteries were topped up. Maybe the batteries differ with each batch or something because I've had both running on my desk in front of my keyboard for the last 5 hours non-stop… no problems at all! For the money they're amazing!

  • Mine has arrived yesterday, DOA.

The picture shows a pair, but just a single one in package.

Well, this is the first item DOA from GearBest.

    • +1

Have you tried holding down the power button until it turns on? Few people in other thread thought light was DOA because they didn't realise this.

      • Yeah, figure it out by holding down the button.

        Thanks
