In 6 years you'll be able to pick up a bigger and better TV from Aldi for $600.

    • ..To get something comparable to the TV I brought 6 years ago for $1500 is still about $800-900.

Doubt it. These paper thin flexible TV's will take a while to go down

Saw the TV in store(JB HiFi) yesterday and then I saw this deal on ebay.
Not enough quantity to post and I didn't think OZB would appreciate a >$8K refurbished tv.
The TV I saw in-store looked amazing though! It was mounted on a clear glass frame/stand and it has the same thickness as a normal glass. It took me
a while to realise that all electronics are located inside the "soundbar".
The animation of the 2 top speakers is cool too

consider the ipone x cost up to $1829, make me don't feel that bad, if i pay $8,500 for this TV.

    • I was first apprehensive of $8 grand for a TV, then saw your logic and thought "makes sense" :D

Still a bit too much for refurbished.

Are you going to create a multi display setup, for one big screen?
What are you going to watch on them first :)

  • If it has facial recognition, I am in.

Refurbished and 8K, don't go well together

    • Does refurbished and 4K make it better?

      • Yep, so much better
