  • Coincidentally just saw this on my price hipster daily email. Looks tempting.

  • +1

The car is better as you will get to use it more often:

  • Very cool idea, but the drone itself is not waterproof (http://global.parrot.com/au/products/minidrones/hydrofoil-dr…) so if it flips on the water, good chance it will not enjoy it…..

    • Lol

    • Seem like a design flaw!

  • This price is a steal. I have one of these and it's great fun, although I've never once tried it as a hydro foil. I use it as a drone only. You can do some pretty cool tricks and modify the speed and altitude settings through the app. It can actually go very fast for its size and is surprisingly maneuverable. Compared to the cheap kmart/bigw style ones I've seen, it appears very stable due its self levelling sensor so you can actually fly it, rather than spend a lot of effort balancing it. It is the same as the other drones in the Parrot range minus the indoor bumpers.
