Xiaomi in collaboration with Philips have designed this lamp with a flexible body that allows you to adjust the lamp in any direction. It features a dual light design and integrates with the Mi Home ecosystem. You can control the brightness by tapping the button on the base or use the Mi Home app to control the brightness, change modes, set timer or set a schedule.

    Work with Google Home?

    • Can’t see it on the Singapore server, only the original xiaomi light.
This one looks like it’s China server only - which doesn’t support google home.

      • You'd have to setup your own server running home assistant or maybe domoticz

      • What do you mean Singapore/Chine server?

        • The Xiaomi Mi Home app - you can select which server it connects to. Only some servers support Google Home.

  • I like the look of it.
    Anyone have one?

    • I do.

The light is quite bright and flexible. Can also illuminate behind it.

My big gripe with it is I was unable to connect it to Mi Home on my router. It needs to communicate with your router and Mi cloud back in China. I was only able to pull this off by tethering the mobile connection of another phone. Without a connection, the blue/orange LED will blink constantly even when the light is off.

You might have better luck though.

I use it without the smart app. It's still a good lamp without it.

  • Damn…I just ordered one a week ago :(

  • What bulbs does it use? They would have to be pretty standard surely?

I am guessing built in , non replaceable LEDs.

      • +1

        Correct. Built in.

I don't think it's LEDs though. It's too uniform for that. LED strips look clumpy.

It looks more like a fluoro tube.

        • +1

          Specs says it's LEDs.

        • @k0ka2: ok.

It's good LEDs then. Not those cheapo ones in a strip or on a torch. There's uniformity like with a tube.

          It's LEDs

          @bdl:

          I don't doubt you.

I'm just saying they're not the usual LEDs you're used to seeing. These are much brighter than any ordinary LEDs you'll find on a torch or tape.

  • $3.27 shipping fee for some reason.

    • Strange - waiting on rep to fix up the free shipping again.

    • Just tried to buy with AU$49.89 for the lamp and additional AU$3.27 for "Shipping Sub-total". But the order didn't go through. Error said: "Please choose shipping method". So with the cheapest shipping option "Unregistered Air Mail (No Tracking Number)" everything mounts up to: AU$66.97

      • This is not a good deal.

  • Is this the cheapest it's been?

  • I got one of these - Xiaomi Desk Lamp Yeelight mijia COOWOO LED - and love it. No fancy app stuff though AFAIK.

  • Got one.
Been waiting for it to go below 50$.
    Thanks OP.

  • Is there a mijia version? What is the difference?
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Xiaomi-Mijia-LED-Li…

    • Exactly the same. Mijia is Xiaomi's brand.
