  What are you using it for though? That Dell monitor is pretty nice if you're mainly doing productivity stuff, especially if you can pick it up from their Outlet sales.

    just normal day to day stuff for work and pleasure, i searched ozbargain and saw those previous outlet sale prices which were really good. ebay has 20% off sale atm making it come down to $280. i was also looking at the U2414H.
    
    do you have any suggestion for other brands also?

      If you're doing day to day stuff, unless you need stuff like colour accuracy etc, most of it comes down to the panel type (IPS vs TN) and aesthetics. For me, the dell U2417H has all 3.

      that is correct i think the panel looks great also and i'm very use to using dell monitors at work for the past 7 years and i like them alot.
