  tbh the ad is on this website everytime i visit ozbargain..but i think its a good deal and i am going to change to it once my contract finish in next march:P if there is no better deal… this is effectively old 49cap optus for 11bucks a month with 12months contract too…

    Oh really? I've don't think I've ever seen it. Haha. Yeah, I'm probably gonig to switch over too. Even if no one else uses Live Connected $330 is still heaps.

  It's definitely a good deal. I think for the majority of people though the liveconnected credit will be going to waste. It is a good way to spread word-of-mouth advertising between friends and family however as people would want to make the most of the $400 credit.

  Also keep in mind that compared to current TPG talk & text plans, these liveconnected plans DO include 13/1300/1800 numbers.

  The only issues I have are that it is only a new company, and has had several noted problems with billing and monitoring data usage (check their facebook page and whirlpool forums). They seem to be sorting these out though and I will probably shift over to them in the near future

    Even $330 is good for that price imo. TPG talk & text is $9.99 for $125 to anyone + $125 to tpg and only 200MB, so it's more than double value for an extra dollar. Hopefully they fix their little tech issues soon. =D

    I have been with them for 7 months or so now.. no problems :D And they have always been very timely in responding to any questions. I am really happy with them.

  I'm guessing mentioning it was MOBILE plan didn't come to mind.
  Keep in mind its a 12 month contract people - alot changes in 12 months, especially mobile service/devices.

    Well, I don't really text with anything other than my mobile. :S

    I don't think the companies are allowed to change conditions of your contract once you're in it. Correct me if I'm wrong. And I think the majority of plans are 24 months anyway.

    And they do provide contractless options such as $12.99/month for $120 credit, 200mb and 1000 free minutes to Optus and Live Connected customers if you're really worried.

    Well.. That one didn't include 1300/1800/13 numbers and now it does so technically it's different, I guess?
