Looks like this is LC response to TPGs new plans.
Save 4$(8$) than TPGs equivalent. Pretty much the exact same plan. Even with the 12 month contract, to cancel is cheap (Remaining months x 11$).
Call rates are the same etc :D (85Cents/ Min, .35 Connection, .25 SMS)
Also (as with TPGS) doesnt include 1800/1300/13 numbers. GO to link for more info :D
Definitely cheaper to buy a phone outright and go on these plans :D

Live Connected are really throwing the cat amongst the pigeons with this plan! They could really make themselves stand out if they included the 13 and 18 numbers tho. Why do some carriers not include these?

its a reseller telco issue and depends on their relationship with the line/network wholesaler. Sometimes conditions are imposed for "non-standard" numbers ie not regular fixed line and mobile numbers.

These guys would be good if it wasnt for incorrect charges being charged to the credit card, raised a billing issue and its been nearly 2 weeks and they havent fixed the charge thats come out of my credit card! Stay away from these guys until they fix their billing issues!
Almost a neg from me - the rates are very high and I would hate to go over the caps, hard to find info on that, good if you are responsible, and keep an eye on your caps etc… too many unknowns here and overall feels dodgy ;)
100 meg (a few good emails and some surfing for a few hours is 45c per meg off your cap = 45 bucks!!!
and 85c per minute shouldnt take long to smash your cap.

Probably nothing for this price - and if you fancy saving a couple dollars in exchange for potential hassles down the track regarding customer support and billing issues - by all means go for it.
As people have mentioned before there is the TPG option.
TPG extra data over data allowance is 20c/MB compared with this at 45c/MB.
Also, the 20C / MB is not included in the cap, so either way your paying a shitload for excess data…
This beats TPG equivalent anyway.
Practically everyone charges 40c/m on these big caps with a 35c ffall. Just have to be sensible about your usage, as with any provider.

It does come extra charge, but the same is with TPG. I dont see this as a neg worthy comment.
Every other plan out there charge the same phone rates, just google search them.

For 11$ a month, I hardley see this as a crap deal. Just stay in your cap and you fine.
They are a new company, but i have been with them for the last 6 months no problems. They are working on the billing but meh. It comes down to personal preference. As long as I am saving money, I am happy =]
TPG is 40c / 30 sec while this is 85c / min. The big difference is that TPG charge per 30 seconds instead of per minute, so if you connect for 20 seconds, on TPG you pay 40c whereas on LC you pay 85c.
In saying that, this plan is great if you don't have TPG net and have to pay $20 for TPG's plan. If you could get the TPG plan for $15 though, I would stick to that ;) (no contract, unlimited FB and ebay, etc)
Nonetheless, this gets a plus from me. Where else are you gonna find this value for $11!
would be good to get clarification if LiveConnect do bill per minute or part thereof and not per 30s (or even 1s?)
also clarification of the unlimited sites would be good

Voicemail retrievals included in CAP but TPG is free, and rate for TPG is 80c per minute vs 85c per minute
So let me get this straight. For the same equivalent plans(medium), TPG has free voicemail, LC has not. TPG has per 30sec billing, LC has not. TPG has free fb,ebay etc, LC has not. TPG has no contract, LC has 1yr contract. TPG costs $19 mth(non customer), LC is $11. $8 difference. So which one comes out on top?? Damn i wish i was good at maths!!
