      Yes, I wasn't sure of the benefit over just using the Apple products. Still not sold on it but of course I bought it. Is the Files app doing a backup? If you have extra iCloud space maybe.

        One of the things I've used it for is to export message history to PDF. There's a lot more that this program can do than just backing up.

        Stuff iTunes can't do (by no means exhaustive):

        • Specify backup location
        • Perform incremental archive backups (only backup the changes since last backup)
        • Read, search and export your entire iMessage and call history
        • … I've just realised I'm paraphrasing the imazing.com website so I'll stop.

      Does that let you mass export attachments from messages?

      Because that's 90% of what I use imazing for.

    I've been using since 2013 (back then it was called DiskAid) and I can vouch for it being so much better than iTunes. If I didn't already have a perpetual family license I would jump right on this deal.

    I bought this when my computer crashed and burned and I couldn’t get stuff off my iPad and iPhone with iTunes on a new PC.
