anyone knows what used 4070ti supers go for on ebay

  • +1

    need a 9800x3d BYO deal…

  • wouldnt the 9800x3d be overpowered for the 9070xt? Any bottlenecks?

    • Depends on the type of games you run. There are some games that benfit a ton from the x3D CPUs while not being graphically intensive. Paradox grand strategy games and Tarkov for example.

    • That is a great combo for Flight Sim 2024. Near 5080 performance from the AMD card and FS really hammers the main thread/ loves the cache on the X3D

  • +4

Are there any 5090 9800 builds coming up?

  • Is a 5070ti or 9070 xtx okay with a 5800x CPU? P.S: is 9070 xt and xtx different? Seeing a lot of xt builds but not xtx although the TechPowerUp site ranks it as superior.

    • 5600G is end of life now unfortunately, will need to do a refresher later. No CPU like that one though for that price point in the meantime. They will likely need to come with a GPU now.

    So many decisions!

Just a little informational I thought some people might like.

The price to performance of the 5080 vs 5070ti vs 9070xt is very close in these builds while the actual video cards themselves, price to performance wise are further apart when purchased separately.

All info coming from this blog: https://www.techspot.com/article/3032-cost-per-frame-gpu/

If you take the lowest price of a
    5080 (https://www.pgrid.app/au/gpus/geforce-rtx-5080) - $1699 - price per frame: $12.87
    5070ti (https://www.pgrid.app/au/gpus/geforce-rtx-5070-ti) - $1289 - price per frame: $11.01
    9070xdt (https://www.pgrid.app/au/gpus/radeon-rx-9070-xt) - $1099 - price per frame: $9.08

But in these nebula builds when taking the total for the build vs FPS you get:
    Price per frame:
    5080 - $21.57
    5070ti - $20.92
    9070xt $20.52

So interesting to note, the 5070ti is almost $2 per frame more expensive than the 9070xt but in these builds its only 40c. With the gap between the 5080 and 9070xt being $3.8c per frame more expensive for the 5080, in these builds its only $1.

So with all that being said. the differences from standalone card to build is:
    5080 - $8.7
    5070ti - $9.91
    9070xt - $11.4
Which basically means the 5080 deal right now gives you the most savings to fps. Note: THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE PRICES ARE GOOD. This is all based off of the retail price of a 5080 which is stupid high for what the card does.

With that being said though. You're paying $550 more for a 5080 build for 20 more fps on average. Essentially paying $25 per frame past the point of a 9070xt. Which in my mind is in no way worth it.

And on that note, the 5070ti average 5fps more than the 9070xt but is $150 dearer. Thus you're paying an extra $30 per frame past 112 frames for the 5070ti.
Up to you if you think the nvidia software and dlss is worth that.

Conclusion: 9070xt FTW. All 16gb cards. No reason at all for buying the 5080 right now imo even with the higher discount.

P.S @nebula PC please update your BYO deals so I can snipe a 9070xt from marketplace for $900 and tide me over until the 50 series supers. Xo

    • i like this comparison!!!

  • Why do these deals always seem to have the graphics card added as a custom component with an apparent inflated cost??? Surely they'd be able to find the card on PCPartsPicker or something comparable given that the "brand may vary'

    • I put them as a custom component as the brand may vary depending on stock availability, the price listed for the component was correct for that brand/model at the time of posting.

    Hi
.I'm.looking for something with quiet fans even when the gpus and cpu are going crazy. Does the default have this or u have any recommendations.

    • There will be some level of audible noise if the system is under load; this is unavoidable. The level of tolerance and acceptability will vary from user to user. In general these builds will have some form of noise, but aren't extremely loud. If you're describing full load with GPU and CPU as "crazy" then yes, it will be audible but not "crazy".

  • You have a
Typo for the 9070 deal saying ryzen 9 instead of 7

    Introducing the Ignis - AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT - 16GB - 16GB - Ryzen 9 9800X3D(nebulapc.com.au) - $2298 after OZB_SEPMEGA_$500OFF (Select RX 9070 XT GPU)

    • Sorry, fixing now.

Bought on the 14th Sep - not receiving any shippment notice, contacted multiple times no responses, and it's 150 dollars cheaper now.
    WTF

    • +1

I put my order in and received confirmation at 8:55am on the 15th of September. The estimate provided was 7-10 business days. I appreciate an estimate is only an estimate but when we’ve now gone past the 10 business days then it’s a frustrating customer experience to have not had any update at all or a new estimate provided, all the while they continue to take more orders which presumably also come with the same 7-10 business days estimate.

      • -1

Hi, can you please email sales@nebulapc.com.au so we can look into this.

      • +5

I ordered on the 14th of Sept, order still sitting at unfulfilled.
I had a chat with them on the 25th because my current computer literally died and Carl was pretty quick to reply, so I will back them there, they said they were super swamped and estimated dispatch early this week. I won’t hold my breath for that but as long as the build quality is top notch I don’t mind a few extra days wait.
Integrating an update system for orders past 10 days would probably be a solid business move going forward though. Or maybe changing it to 7-14, better to over deliver than over promise ya know.
It is a tad frustrating, I agree. But ya never know, 3 of them could have gone down with the flu. And it’s just one poor bastard running cable management, hating his life. 😂

    • Hi, could you please email sales@nebulapc.com.au so we can look into this for you ASAP. I am not currently aware of anyone not being responded to in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely sounds unsual.

  • Why does nobody comment on these nebula cases? Are they garbage or? Are they really noisy? You can’t really change components as it completely destroys the deal.

    • +1 would appreciate anyone who can comment on the n7 nebula case

The only other substantive post I found was on the n5 nebula case about CPU coolers:

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/887766

    • Hopefully someone in one of the previous deals can comment on it but for me, I was willing to spend a little more to upgrade to a case I really wanted and the manual/specs were readily accessible online. I went with the MSI MAG PANO M100R PZ in white on a recent deal.

Only thing I could find on the Nebula case was one or two comments on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/bapcsalesaustralia/comments/1fqz9qw…

  • Would this now qualify for the NVIDIA Arc Raiders promotion?

Currently looking at the recently posted techfast deal here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/928927 but I would much rather buy from nebula (local to me, you have a storefront for walk ins, more trustworthy website).

    • I wonder if they are still posting, its been a month since these deals.

    • Yes, eligiblity is based on invoice date.

  • +1

Hi @Nebula PC just wondering if there are some new Black Friday deals incoming?

Any thoughts on how I can best future proof myself with a budget of $2200? I'd need Windows and a decent capacity SSD too.

Going for a white setup :)

    • Yes, will be some new deals coming through.

      • Thanks. I've picked up a GPU so I'm looking for a BYO build (still white)

  • Is this still available? the 5070ti build sums to $2948.

    • Yes, it's available. Please use OZB_SEPMEGA_$500OFF in checkout, and the price will come down to $2448.

  • Is that RAM CL38?

  • Any chance we can get mATX builds for the 5070ti and 5080?

    • Our N7 case is an mATX case, which is the default case for this deal offering.

  • +1

Do these builds come with Arc Raiders because of the GPUs? (5080 in question, specifically).

    • yes but I think you have to order before the 4th

  • Is there any 7800x3d option?
