    Do these guys have access to the full Telstra network?

      The coverage map page (https://www.belong.com.au/mobile/coverage-map) says:

      "Belong mobile uses PART of Telstra's mobile network."

      • I had a look at the map this morning. It includes the 700mhz band so should be most of Telstra's network at a shaped 4G (but 4GX tower) speed.

    • Devices: To use this service, you’ll need to bring your own compatible mobile device which supports 3G 850MHz and, for access to the 4G service, both 4G 1800MHz and 4G 700MHz bands.
      I wonder how this compares with Telechoice…
      Edit: 3G-850MHz and both 4G 1800MHz and 4G 700MHz bands - so the same.

      Also, does "unlimited" data banking mean only your unused data from the previous month rolls over, or does it continue to add up across all months?

      • They've said it's the first in the market, and the terms mention nothing about waiving data after the next month so I presume it would keep adding up. If not, it's incredibly misleading.

        This reads more like a continuous rollover:

        "Rollover your unused data each month and store it in your bank for when you need it. So you don't lose what you don't use."

      Was it them claiming:

      All your base are BELONG to us?

      then I would assume so. Hopefully they throw in some alien technology too!

    Warning. These guys have the worse customer service you can ever imagine.

      They make you feel like you DON'T Belong?

      The waiting time on the phone for the staffs to assist you will Be long.

      • Half hour argued because the bundle I chose and the guy said they had never had that bundle. End up with no apology

      Agreed, their customer service is trash.
      I was hopeless every time I called them.
      Every time I ended up with using the online chat or messaging their Facebook page.
      I found their online live chat is much much more easier to be connected than their phone.

      I want to pay low price with better product
      ->
      OK…Low price no service…
      ->
      I want someone who can pick up my call straight away…
      ->
      Ok…. Higher price with Indian call centre
      ->
      Those Indian are retards. I want Australian call centre…
      -> OK… Australian call centre but much higher price/less value in products…
      ->
      I want to pay low price with better product
      ->
      ………..

      I think who can solve the issue that the Australian customer wants will win the Noble prize next year.

      • Reminds me of something my old General Manager used to say:
        "Quality product. Supplied/supported quickly. For a low cost. You can only choose 2."

        And Ive found for most things, most of the time, that holds true.
        - You want a quality product, supplied quickly and well supported, its going to cost $$$.
        - You want a quality product, for a cheap price, its going to take a month to arrive from China with little/no warranty.
        - You want something supplied fast, at a cheap price, it often wont be great quality.

    It seems to be everything I ever wanted in a phone plan. No automatic top ups. Shaped after running out of data. Roll-over of data. No minimum contract term. Besides the customer service thing, how do people who are current customers find the coverage and the internet speed on Belong?

    Does the data roll over continuously??
    Like is the extra data from month 1 that you don't use in month 2, still available in month 3??

  • Belong sent me a SIM card with $80 free credit on it. Randomly arrived in the mail. I downloaded the app and activated the sim to see what would happen.. Used $45 of the free credit to activate (for the 15GB plan & calls and texts) so there still $35 remaining for next months top up AND they activated the sim with 45GB on it. When I login, it tells me any unused data will continue to roll over. Very impressed!

    • Jojo80, how did you get the free $80 sim card, are/were you a Belong customer?

      • No idea, it was addressed to me but I'm not a customer, never have been
