Compliant with AS4989 except that it isn't? So this should read as "Not compliant with AS4989". UV stability in Australia quite possibly a greater concern than in Europe.

Look, OP & Alice, 5% isn't going to cut the mustard around here…
Think of us at vultures, gobbling everything up that's 50% off or more… but 5% isn't worth the effort.
My suggestion is to get rid of stuff like this "Compliant with AS4989 except for UV testing and with latest European Safety Norms" and replace with "95% off trampolines" as i for one, together with my children, would rather risk injury then pay retail.

Astute anchor kit, looks like a lot of work to dismantle when mowing the lawn. Is it meant to be permanently on?
I like being able to drag a trampoline around the yard so can mow under it.

Thanks for your interest in Alice's Garden products. We are thrilled to see so many posts about our trampolines.
A few comments to address the queries above.
First of all, re AS:4989, the Australian Standard is not mandatory but recommended. Whilst not mandatory, we have decided to test the robustness of our trampoline and we have passed the test for robustness, however we haven't done the test on UV because it takes 5,000 h to run the UV test and we din't have enough time to do so. Having said that our trampolines have been sold for a few years now in Europe, in particular in south of Spain where the temperatures often reach 40 degrees or more and no specific issues in term of UV resistance.
As for the selling price comment, you are right, the price of the trampoline in this add is more expensive than previous add but ….. price increase is only $3.58. Why? We reduced our upfront selling price in the meantime, so even if the discount is 5% instead of 10% the price difference is less tan $5 - feel free to check previous add for 12 foot trampoline https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/322661
We believe many of you have noticed that even with "only" a 5% discount our trampolines are at a very competitive price, especially given that we offer free delivery in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro (postcode 2000-2234, 3000-3207 and 4000-4230). So we are able to offer a good bargain to OZ Bargain members which is important to us.
Lastly our anchor kits are easy to remove (only 4 of them to unscrew from your grass so not too long) so convenient if you want to mow the lawn and they offer more stability to the trampoline.
