    • The 15c one lasted a few insertions before a piece of plastic inside broke. The card disappeared into the reader & had to break it to get card back.

      • That is true, these ones are junk.

        • having said that, I bought 2 early last year.
          Gave one to daughter, kept one for me.
          Mine failed within a few insertions, hers on the otherhand has worked for many, many uses and going strong.
          Luck of the draw I guess.

    usb 2 …… would be painfull with 64gb cards in terms of speed.

    • That's what I am thinking.
      A few people have reported in speed tests of larger capacity cards that the bottleneck is the card reader.

      I want to transfer data from Class 10 64GB to 128GB U3 card. My existing USB 2 card readers are rejected on a Win10 machine with only USB 3. Think I'll pay more & buy better USB 3 card readers.

      Sometimes it's worth spending a few dollars more…
