  • too expensive for what you get

Internal Storage 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA
Hard drive (2nd) 32 GB eMMC

    1280 x 800

the atom z8350 is well past its use by date

    • I'm actually looking for something that's 1280x800 for that size. Windows scaling is not great for high pixel density devices. And 4GB RAM is a useful step up from the 2GB you usually get with Chinese tablets.

But the 32GB eMMC is a letdown, and I agree the price is steep for the specs. I would jump in if the list price was $300-350, but even I'm paying more than what other people would pay.

        Asus have what you want.
Asus Transformer Mini T102HA - good display and range of ports. Fingerprint sensor for Win Hello. Long battery life.
A great bonus is it comes with a stylus - n-trig which is the same as MS Surface 4.

I am the opposite, and if it was full HD I would buy it.

The Chinese 10"+ Win tablets are all at least 1080p now, and they all have 4GB ram.

        • I have enough 1080p or higher res tablets. That's why I wanted something lower. It makes the visual novels I play not get stretched and look ugly.

Seems a bit expensive the Asus. Though you do get a stylus which is nice.

  • Agreed. I'm not buying one personally, but thought it might still represent value for someone that is looking at this range of products.

  • I would not come near this Intel Atom

It is proved that Atom CPU could not get Microsoft win 10 anniversary creator update . So not recommend to any Atom CPU old laptop any more.

This is not true. The Surface 3 has a Z8700 and can be updated to creators update. I can't speak for this HP, but the surface 3 (non pro) is a fairly capable day to day device.

      • Thanks for your reply. Yes I have done more research , it should apply to Atom Z2760, Atom Z2520, Atom Z2560, Atom Z2580.

    • The 32GB eMMC might not be enough space for the download and install either. You need about 10GB spare.

      Unless it's a fresh install.

That update is full of bugs anyway.

  • You can pick up a Chuwi with similar specs for half the price.

  • Way too much, I paid $213 for the CHUWI Hi10 Pro 2 twice, better screen but a smaller hard drive.

  • That's not bad. I want something like that. Problem is the price. I don't want to pay more than $200 for it.

Is there a way to put an SSD in?

Is Windows installed on the eMMC or the HDD?
