  • I wish I could stretch to that price, but I am about to buy the Hisense 39N4 through Good Guys.

Main use is for kids gaming. I stayed in a Hotel recently that had a
Hisense Smart TV and was impressed.

I have 39N4 and am very happy with it.

      • Thanks ubor. Buying today.

  • Any idea what the refresh rate/Hz is? Struggling to find details on it, except for this listed in the extended technical specifications on their website:

    HDMI ports
    HDMI inputs 4
HDMI type 4K@60Hz with HDCP version 2.2 HDMI 1, HDMI 2
HDMI type 1.4 with HDCP version 1.4 HDMI 3, HDMI 4
HDMI 2.0 compliant input HDMI 1, HDMI 2

I assume that means it is 60Hz in HDMI 1 and 2, but other listings just say "50,60", which is confusing.

60 in those two slots and 50 in the others maybe?

Essentially any TV in Australia will have refresh rates of 50Hz or a multiple of 50 (100 etc.) 60Hz is generally found on TVs in America. The specs just mean that it'll be compatible with a 60Hz (USA) or 50Hz (Australia) signal.

What you may need to be mindful of is that it only has 2 HDMI ports (1 and 2) that are compatible with 4K signals. So if you connect more than two 4K capable devices, the ones connected to HDMI 3 or 4 will only be Full HD, not 4K.

      • Thank you! That's extremely helpful!
