The regular price is $899, this is a 1% saving.

    I don't think this is a bargain.

It seems your business model is that you can get a tiny saving as a reseller and you then try to advertise it as a big saving when its really not..

    • there are guys advertising for a few cents off a USB fan and calling it a bargain. There are guys posting woolworths and coles catalogues and calling them bargains.Given the product is a christmas cruise the prices seem good if it floats your boat.

      • -1

Not really, a lot of those deals expire and they aren't just a few cents cheaper.

All of those deals are more then 1% discount so its worth it.

        You are wrong.

        • Have you been on a cruise?
Are you aware of the prices of a cruise during xmas?
Are you aware of the concept of supply and demand and subsequent impact upon price?

          I guess not.

        • @Dont Care:

You do realise this is a 1% discount.

          1%….

        • @samfisher5986: Do you realise you're bagging an OP for a discount. Just so you know, 1% of $889 is greater than the discount on your usb fans. comprende?

        • @Dont Care:

          I didn't post any usb fans…

I'm saying that almost always these "usb fans" are more then a 1% discount at current prices.

        • @samfisher5986: What you've posted is a trail of rubbish. Go put up a deal of your own I'm sure it will be a showstopper.

          @Dont Care:

Why are you taking this so personally?

          Grow a spine, don't cry.

  • I doubt there is even insurance from the industry when you buy from a facebook page businesss. Do you even have an abn?

  • +1

Just did same cruise and totally recommend it, parents usually do more expensive royal Caribbean cruises and were blown away with all the perks on board carnival - 24 hour pizza, adults only deck, mexican and bbq available all day etc.

  • +2

Why would anyone want to have to go through such a convoluted method to book? Spam

  • +2

Rep, you're deal-posting history is awful. Clearly just spamming us. How have you not been banned yet?

I agree with the commentors above, this is not a deal when RRP is $10 more. Far better to book through Flight Centre and purchase discounted gift cards

    • +2

Actually, you are totally wrong about RRP.
Normal price for Christmas season for this cruise would be at least 50℅ higher.
It's just Carnival are having this cruise on sale at this moment. Probably trying to fill more cabins.
However, I agree that one should book with a known travel/cruise agent rather than via a dubious Facebook page.

      • I agree, this is a wild deal and they are clearly filling cancellations etc.

      • You completely misunderstand.

OP can just offer current prices with a 1% discount.

RRP = market price in this situation. There is always some kind of deal going on.

        • It's not RRP, nor a current market price. It's a sale price. And the OP offers 1% off this sale price.

If it was any other season, this price would've been very ordinary, but for the X-Mas season - it's quite good.

          @bob19:

          how is 1% good?

We are commenting on this bargain from this person, not anyone else.

Over XMAS… Good God, the Ankle-Biters are thick that time of year.

  • +3

    Facebook seriously?

  • I've gotten the best prices booking on Carnival site itself. I was not charged any credit card fees that often Travel agents charge and I was able to manage my booking online leading up to sail date. Once I booked through an agent on another cruise as family had already booked with her and each time I needed anything I had to contact the agent and she only worked part time or was slow to respond we also missed out on some cabin perks due to her tardiness and lack of attention to detail.

  • Needs to be mentioned that these prices are for guaranteed inside cabins only. So you will know the cabin only close to the departure date. And if you are not lucky you may get the worst cabin.
Btw, I found that some reputable travel agent's prices for this cruise are lower than the OP's.

Whats the difference between the worst and best cabin when you know you are getting interior, oceanview etc?

      • +1

The worst cabins would be at the very front and back of the ship. The best would be located mid ship.

        • I like the front balcony. ANY inside cabin is the worst. Mid ships is good for people who suffer from motion sickness.

Change your company name to Ilovespamming.com.au

I do think it is a great deal for Christmas

    • -1

This person is not offering you a deal, they are simply giving you 1% less then regular costs, as they are likely a reseller.

If they didn't have to lift a finger to offer you 1%, its not a deal.

They are probably just cutting you in on their commission.
