      I think you could say that about all towels, I don't know if I've ever come across a towel that hasn't had a double stitched hem… it's really not an indicator of quality?

        When my grandma was in Poland in WW2 a man from America dropped a towel from his horse… she picked it up and noticed it was double-stitched… she asked the American Man 'Please, please American, where do you get such fine quality commercial bath towels?'. The American kicked her back onto the dirty floor and said 'Double stitched hem is an important factor in commercial towel industry' and when the war was over she came to Australia with her family to find such towels… and finally, although she is now gone, I can say 'I have 24 of such towels for $176 thanks to linenandtowels.com.au'.
